This really does give off intense NFL Street vibes. It is a little too cartoonish to take over as the definitive NFL game, but it honestly looks a lot more fun compared to Madden right now. Hopefully this ushers in some big changes 🤞🏻

Probably won't happen given the update history of NBA Playgrounds and the WWE game, but I'm going to hold out a little hope.

Guys. This game is so much fun. I think it needs more content but the customization is great! Something that madden lacks! Then you get to use the team that you created and face players online. For those that are hesitant to buy this, get it. It's fun game. The wild card system isnt too broken or too cheap. Its all balanced. Cant wait till I play this more when I get off from work.

Nah I honestly hope 2k doesn’t get a hold of this. These developers made the nba playgrounds series and the first one was aight, but once 2k got a hold of the publishing the sequel became absolutely swamped with microtransactions and tedious grinding to incentivize purchases. Especially seeing how the 2k simulation series has gone, I want em to stay as far away from this series as possible.

What do you think the chances are that the NFL purposefully doesn't want a great NFL video game that would take away a bunch of money the NFL makes off tickets, TV, and merchandise? If your team is getting blown out, why would you keep watching the game when you have multiple amazingly realistic and fun video games to play? I believe that the NFL intended for EA to publish C+ products so that the videos games wouldn't take away business from the real games.
I am so fed up with EA having the NFL license where they have no competition and are just comfortable making a game thats just an annual roster update and relying more on ultimate team every year and less on gameplay. This game, however, looks like WWE All Stars, NFL Blitz, Madden Arcade and NFL street, all in one. If its as fun to play as it looks, it'll be awesome!
A lot of people do/don't realize that 2k can use the NFLPA license too. So if 2k makes an unlicensed simulation football game they can use the NFLPA license. I think
Man you got me to buy AP2K8 and holy hell you weren’t lying. It’s not as fast as madden and i feel like i can actually move and time passes way better. I already have thrown so many fade routes that would be madden picks. I noticed the lack of animations for tackles. Seems much more realistic. But i can’t get over how nice it is to actually read your routes unlike madden where if you have a big screen it’s really hard to scan because the lines are trash and you can’t extend plays So I’ll take your word on this game
Game looks pretty fun but the thing is does/will it have microtransactions though? I wouldn't put it past even this game to fall into the usual thing of trying to nickel & dime as much as possible from it's players with how a lot of games have been in the last few years.

To be fair, Madden does have 3D grass. It just isn't overgrown grass like in this game, which looks unrealistic (no field has grass this high).
