Hello. This is Ziya from Türkiye..I wish I could discover this Chanel when I started to build my camper van. I love this kind of detailed videos. Starting with bathroom İ'm going to watch all your videos. You're outstanding sir. Thank you..🎉🎉
So glad the videos have been helpful 😁👍
I subscribed as soon as you started speaking.
Cheers 🍻
Thank my friend. Gracias y saludos desde España.
I'm glad it has been of help to you
that video was a big help for me many thanks
Glad it helped Lee many thanks for the comment
Mint job mate
😁👍
Excellent video mate. Came on here for a method to secure my top rail and that’s exactly what i found. Thanks bud 🙏🏻
Glad it help pal I started recording so I could capture the difficulties I encountered and the mistakes I would make along the way hoping it would help people out
It always nice to hear that a video has done just that
let us know how your getting on at our facebook page I love seeing other people's builds and we have a good group who offer up lots of help when needed 👍
Nice! Will be fitting one soon myself, I'll be back for more details
Just give me a shout 👍
another excellent video with lots of detail on a rarely touched on part of a van build. you deserve so many more views and subscribers but i guess too many are drawn towards the various American van build series running at the moment, all with lots of flash, bang & wallop but usually very little actual content or detail. Its the mention of things like the 25mm window piece from the upvc window suppliers that make all the difference as it is these little details people get stuck on.....
Thank you for the kind word it is appreciated
You'll never make a hurdler....... Loving the informative videos, great stuff mate.
I would make a good hurdle though 🤣🤣🤣 👍
Can you show a video of the fixing of the shower itself please
The tape is only there for when your cutting to keep the slats from sliding around.
Ray I removed it thanks for the heads up pal
Looks great mate did the tape on back of door do ya head in or do u just shut your eyes when having a crap
I took it off pal it was driving me nuts 🤣🤣🤣
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife thought you would lollllll
Sam.That space music is dead annoying mate. Otherwise good to see how you installed your Tam door.
Early days mate I was still learning about what works and what doesn't
Do you need the tape? The slats slot into each other right? So once its installed there shouldn't be any reason they'll fall out of the runners?
The tape is fitted by the manufacturer and is stuck on there
I did try to remove a section from the off cut but it was solid so just left it on in all honesty
Do you have any problems with the door rattling when you’re driving?
No we have no rattles at all fingers crossed 🤞
Just a quick question.. Which is the bottom track out of the two?
They should be identical 👍
Hi, do you have a link to where you got the T trim from. The one in the description is not working anymore.
Thanks
I'll need to have a look later 👍 and get back to you
sorry for the delaying getting back to you it's been a busy week I hope this link helps you out: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184859482083?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=J_H3xP6XQW2&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=qkhVtACcQ9q&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Cheers 🍻
Good video. Just wanted to ask how robust does it feel?
It's spot on we used it all last year with no issues my wife and son need to slam everything and this door gets the same treatment and it's show no signs of giving up for a long time 👍
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife thanks for that.. I'll order it today.
@@julianpowell6355 you won't regret it 👍
Great video👍. What’s the dimensions of the rail please, my tray has a awkward profile😡
Where did you get the seal from mate
which seal are you referring to please
Hello,
how big is the door opening (height and width)
A nice result :-)
thanks
Hi sorry about the delay in responding to you we have been really busy the last few days the shower opening is 45cm x 164cm, I hope you find the videos helpful and thanks for the comment
Just another RV gimmick!
But what a gimmick it works a treat 😁👍
@@TheCraftyBlindersvanlife Your not being honest with your viewers. Your looking only by the sellers point of view and not what a RVer would really do.. Did you explain that if anything is wrong, anything there is NO refunds. That the double stick tape may not and usually is NOT strong enough and will unstick after a short period of time. Your relying to much on the top and bottom bar to hold it up and it will not.
@@kenrivers4041 I'm sorry I don't understand the point your trying to make here
why would I need to explain that if I or you for that matter cut or size reduced or even modify a product that there would be no refund?
If you point is that maybe I should take time to explain this it would be pointless in my opinion as each company has its own returns policy, also some sacrificial cuts are allowed with companies and not with others
Please remember this vlog is to document how I built my shower and van and I'm well aware of what I'm doing when I modify a product to fit I must accept some of the responsibilities and accountability for my actions if a product fail as a result of my actions that on me if it's a manufacturing issue that's still on them regardless
This door is designed to run in the top and bottom guides as are many tambour door systems as for the tape this is removed once installed something I covered in a later vlog
The shower has been in use for nearly 18 months now with absolutely zero issues and next to no maintenance, if anything was to go wrong I would post a video covering this to keep any viewers interested in the subject informed
Thanks for your comments It would be nice to know if I covered your point
Take care Sam
@@kenrivers4041 So you expect him to discuss the long-term problems with the install he's experienced during the entire 5 minutes he's owned it? You sound like an angry incoherent drunk.
