Watching this on this day of all days leaves me with great sadness but also great joy at having been with Mr. Nimoy since the late 60s. i remember sitting down to dinner on tv trays to watch "Star Trek" and to boldy go where no man had gone before. Mr. Nimoy's passion and ingenuity will remain with me for a very long time to come. It is my pleasure to have known about this man and to embrace his philosophy. Thank you Mr. Nimoy. Simply, thank you.

Honesty, Leonard Nimoy was such a generous, kind, funny, and sweet human being. He brought so much heart and soul into Mr. Spock and made him somebody that anyone can look up to in life. As a trekkie Leonard Nimoy's character Mr. Spock has inspired me to keep calm and balance my emotions and accept the fact that it's okay to be different and that i can succeed in my life. #LLAP
Leonard, as Spock, was a mentor to me and, although he's not really Spock literally, he will always be the real Spock in the Star Trek universe. Whoever comes after him in the role will not do it better. Perfection can't be topped. R.I.P. Mr. Nimoy.

He deserves his posthumous Emmy and throw in Honorary Academy Award. So many young entertainers would point to him as an inspiration. He was great at the craft of acting and his other artistic interests where at high level.

Leonard Nimoy , as Spock, is indeed one of the greatest icons in TV and movie history. He was always my favorite character in the Star Trek series. Yes there will be "other" Spocks but none will ever surpass Nimoy's portrayal of Spock. R. I. P. Mr. Nimoy. You are now able to converse "Scotty and "Bones" one the other side. Good bye. We will miss you but can not forget you. Live Long And Prosper.

Interrupts too much, puts himself to much into the interview, and is condescending. Good interviewers are not noticed. It was Nimoy that made the interview worth watching but I stopped after Pharrells fifth "wow" in a row.

He played some fine roles, even before he played Spock. His portrayal of Samuel the prophet was epic in his later years.

Pharrell, you are a cool dude...you interviewed Spock? That was a neat old guy. The man was in charge of entertainment in the Army when he was very young. Leonard Nimoy was just cool as a fan from the beginning of his life to the end. He was a consummate artist.

I had not watched this before today, on what would have been Leonard Nimoy's 93rd birthday, and I am struck by how sensitive an interviewer Pharrell is and by how honest and humble Mr. Nimoy was here. I truly miss Nimoy's presence in the world. He was a great man, and Pharrell's interview does him justice. Thank you for it.

I enjoyed this SO much. I had no idea about this show/channel until I began hunting around YT tonight looking for Nimoy interviews (as it's coming upon the anniversary of his passing.)
Pharrell wound up asking the very same type of questions I'd always wanted to ask Nimoy myself! I too am a creative person who is always bubbling over with concepts and ideas bout everything in life. Both of these gentlemen perceive the world in an almost identical way that I do -- least according to the way they spoke here.

When I was just a little kid I used to watch In Search Of. His narration used to scare the shit out of me.
...He is truly a "straight shooter" tells his story with passion. No star EGO's involved. A real working actor, no" fluff" no chaser just the real Leonard Nimoy. fantastic interview.

I had the pleasure meeting him at WTBS during the '70's for a cerebral palsy telethon. He signed my books, including I Am Not Spock, and we talked about Ft. McPherson (he mentioned that Julie, his daughter, was born there and I told him I was an Army brat as were my younger sister and younger brother-and later a nephew) and the Jewish benediction (which is in the world 1928 Book of Common Prayer). He was most gracious and kind. I wish he were still alive too. I liked him in an "Man From UNCLE" episode as well as in "Star Trek", "M:I", "In Search of" and have some of his records. Are there CD's made from his records now?
