This song has a special meaning to me. I watched this special on PBS several weeks before my third daughter was born. This is the song that I played when she came into this world 25 years ago. I love that the arrangement twists and turns just like the springtime breeze. It sounds like a whisper then a turbulent windstorm, all the while going back to a gentle familiar place of the first strains of the composition. I bought the CD and listened to this song over and over again! It still fills my heart with emotion all these years later. Thank you John Tesh for such a beautiful performance and blissful memories~🌷

I never did care for John Tesh's style of commentary, but this song is so beautiful! And what a lovely performance from Nadia!

So graceful in song and in steps. How beautifully composed and played, too. This is Your Gift, John Tesh, no doubt.

Very cool, I'd never seen this. I remember we saw the amphitheater once, and it was huge. I have a few of his discs. He was an newscaster for (IIRC, Channel Six News) in Orlando where I lived for awhile, and I was surprised to see he was a musician later on. He also gave Yanni his first shot at performing on stage and Yanni returned the favor by getting John his first recording contract, as I understand it.
I also remember watching Nadia get her perfect 10...she always looked like she was having a blast, and I remember Bart Conner's iron cross in the Olympics was spectacular. IIRC, he held it well beyond the minimum time requirement, as if to say "I OWN this".
Good to see you are still doing well, John...Cheers from Winter Park.

I've always loved this song! John did the commentating for NBC and the Olympics in 1992. This song was used during "fluffs" featuring Kim Zmeskal. It always reminds me of her.

So appropriately titled; as the music unfolds, like the beauty in the flowers of Spring.

Nadia looks like Emma Watson ! I love the photo at 0:26 with Nadia's bangs hanging down from her forehead and the gold medals draped around her neck !

@rnjen2b1 ditto. gives you a lump in your throat when you hear this music and think of what could've been for kim zmeskal.

I love this music!!! I especially love the contemplative pieces he does like this one.
I am a struggling composer of this same genre and I would love to get some feedback. If anyone is interested just type crazykeyman in the search and 3 of my compositions will come up. "the Neverending Way Home" "Rainy Day" and "Room For Two"
    Thank you
