I was there, and this -- the opening number -- was by far the highlight of the show. Well, this and when Tesh first walked out on stage in the purple suit ... and someone in the crowd yelled "Barney!"

No problem rogerfan- The last I remember hearing, he's released a couple of religious albums, there are bound to be vocals on them. Good thing to Google. Spanish Steps is another good one. I was twelve years old when this concert was on T.V. I was stunned by Charlie Bisharat and the way he can play that damn violin.

The violinist aka "The Captain" has some great flowing locks of hair!
My memory is a little foggy and I believe he worked on other parts of TV as well but that's beside the point.
He is an uber dork, but he has 4 redeeming qualities:
1.not afraid to laugh at himself
2.seems to live his spiritual beliefs
3.likes Star Trek
4.extremely talented musician when he's not doing elevator music!

So I used to have a vhs of this concert in the late 90’s when I was in high school. I remember that there was a trumpet intro to this song. It was a cadenza type long solo. Amazing. I cannot find it anywhere. Any suggestions?
