I'm not sure if Phil is trying to convince the dents, or himself that his content has any actual value. People show up to laugh at the clown. If it wasn't for that nobody would have any idea who Phil is. Even after fifteen years.

I think this is Phil's way of saying "Fuck you and goodbye", to us detractors who have made damn sure that he gets the legacy he deserves. Never forget that Phil really is of the opinion that he is cool, smart, and good at whatever he wants to do, and no amount of negative feedback was ever going to correct that childish, narcissistic, deluded view. He knows he will not be spoken of the way he thinks he deserves to, and after he stops streaming, he will have to endure us dictating his legacy forever.
