Reminder that Thel 'Vadam is unique in that he knows how to handle human weapons even during the Human-Covenant War, whereas the other Covenant Elites did not, because he actively studied and learned how his enemy's weapons operated. That skill served him well come his time as the Arbiter.
On another note, wasn't there an Elite specifically tasked with hunting the Demon on Installation 04? Forgot his name, but I know he's the Elite you end up blowing up on the elevator just before the Warthog Run.

Yeah, he also had a grunt companion, and they failed multiple times to catch the demon. To the point that they had to change their identities for a time.
