Painting is Personal (A Short Documentary About my Grandfather)

I'm not the most experienced documentarian but this is a medium I'd love to work more with. This video was another school project but it blossomed into a short film I'm pretty proud of. I've done interviews before but nothing where the goal was to tell a meaningful story, and it was super interesting trying to achieve that with editing and visuals in a format where you don't have as much control. It's fun working with other creatives and it feels nice to have a permanent record of someone I respect as much as I respect my grandpa.
