Ring of 10 bells. Tenor 41cwt 1qtr 20lbs in C.
Cast by John Taylor & Co, Loughborough in 1901
(except 2nd and 4th which were cast in 1896).
Part of the opening of a peal of Stedman Caters rung on Saturday 9 March 2019.
I used to live on Highgate as a teenager and this was my Sunday alarm clock. It was bloody loud (I live near the bottom of Highgate so really close) but I always loved the sound of the bells and of change ringing.
Lovely ringing best wishes from Flamborough.
i like the Dutch sally !
The 9th is a big shouty isn’t it!
nice bells
I’m friends with Mike
It is very nice to see bell ringing on the North Bank of the Humber, especially as they are northern Yorkshire barbarians! They should take a lil trip to the south band and Lincolnshire shire ringers will show them what time it is!😂😅😂😂😅
