  • One thing I wanted to do today when I visited Beverley, East Yorkshire was to do a remake of the Minster Clock Chimes video, with my newer camera. The bells here at the minster are a glorious 41cwt Taylor ring of 10 tuned to C, that mixes with the grandeur of the minster. The ringing bells are in the north tower while in the south tower is the big hour bell, Great John along with two other bells. The Chimes for the Minster Clock were composed by the organist of the Minster at the time, John Camidge. Plus I had the idea to transcribe the chimes for sheet music after seeing the chimes in a book on clock chimes, which I did not have, nor did the Minster shop, so I did it myself on MuseScore which was a bit of a pain in the arse to use, but it is free.....if I made any mistakes please tell me in the comments...
