Due to thanksgiving break, I happened to have a 4th Friday off from school, so I went to Iowa Park to finally get a recording of their system. I chose this STH-10 located at the fire/police department in downtown. They tested 7 minutes late but it was worth the 35 minute drive.
At around 11:03, I called Iowa Park PD to hear them say that they postponed their test for next week. So I took some pictures and then packed my camera up. Then, my scanner picked up alphanumeric tones coming from the police department, and at the same time, a fire dispatcher came out and said “They’re about to test the sirens here in a sec.” So I quickly while panicking, mounted my camera back on my tripod, zoomed into the siren and centered it. And then about 30 seconds later, the STH-10 came to life, while in the process of destroying my ears. A couple times in the video, including on the windup, you can faintly hear the 2001-SRN located at Gordon Lake off of Victoria Rd. This was the definitely the loudest STH-10 I have ever heard, and is up there on the loudest sirens I have ever heard. This was a great experience, especially since they did attack. This STH-10 is located at the Iowa Park fire and police department, and is tested on the 4th Friday @ 11:00 AM.

Can't believe I found this. I found this siren on the SIREN ARCHIVES back in Aug 2021.

I like how the siren head nudges a bit in response of the torque.

@Brodie’s_SirenProductions you video anymore of there sirens imma go try and video one of there 2t22 going off and maybe go back to get there sd 10 also. From over in electra Texas over here we have two fs 2001 and two eclipse 8's that run the alert signal for warning and testing on the first monday of the month at noon if they do it.
No I’ve only been to Iowa Park once for sirens, it’s under an hour away so it won’t be hard to head back, Same for Electra, and it’s a bit closer to me. I want to catch an Electra test sometime. Maybe during summer break
@@brodiessirenproductions we test ours first Monday at noon weather permitting but they haven't tested last two months for some reason
