It's been 4 years, but at the uni I'm at there's plenty of girls! But it does vary for each stream of engineering, like civil and biomed I'd say have far more than mechanical or mechatronics

I go to uni and I don't really like it. I find I made more friends and lots of really good ones at my schools. but at uni everyone is very clique-y and judgemental. I tried talking to people and they didn't really want to talk back. Also most things revolve around drinking which I don't do (n). I had such high expectations (maybe plays a part) so this is bery bery sad :p

Don't worry, I'm still at uni (last year) and it's a bit better. Like with everything it just takes time. You just need to throw yourself out there. It's a big place so you're bound to find someone! Remember if they're no good to you, they're not worth your time. Spend time with those who are awesome to you, they're the ones you wanna hold onto. If someone's not nice to you leave em out! :p

Universities are businesses, and business is good. Universities will not provide you with the knowledge to be successful, that knowledge you must find for yourself. The most valuable thing a university/school can give you is the aspect of socializing and creating networks, and that stuff is free.
