Yes, I totally agree, this install isn’t quite strong enough to hold this vanity if any type of weight was to be put on it, I don’t don’t do this full time but I don’t understand how to install this safely and correctly, peace and God Bless

Can a stud finder tell the difference between stud and pipe? Mine can't. Use caution, pipes aren't always where you might expect them.

You're going to hold that vanity in place with that thin-metal brace?
    Are you kidding me?
As soon as people start leaning in to the unit to reach what's in the medicine cabinet above, that bracket will fail under the stress of the static load when someone adds their weight as shorter people and kids will be your biggest unassuming culprits.
You need some heavy duty "L" brackets on the bottom spaced no more than 12" tied in to the 2x4 with a min of 3" lags. Some "L" brackets supporting the counter top would be a good added measure. There are 18" brackets available for about $40. Spending the cash now before installing the unit will prove to be much cheaper than the cleanup, repair and cost of materials the second time around.

One more thing: be careful with the stud finder: it does not know the difference between a stud and metallic content like supply lines that might be feeding a bathroom above or drain vent pipes.

Hi +Who Is This Guy Anyways? Thank you for reaching out to us; this product was designed to hang with the bar that is supplied with it. The bar is to be securely attached to the wall by screwing it directly into the existing studs or framework. If the vanity is positioned in a way that the hanging bar cannot access the stud frame, then a back panel needs to be inserted on or in between the stud frame. Once secured, the bar canbe screwed into this panel. The panel needs to be flush with the existing wall so that the vanity will sit square against it.
Once the bar is in place, and with 2 people, gently place the vanity on the bar utilizing the mounting hooks supplied. Then from inside the vanity, you can adjust it against the wall by using a Phillips screwdriver. The tightening screw is accessible though 2 holes from inside the vanity.
Once the vanity is tightened against the wall, for added support, locate the studs or back panel and screw in a 3-inch wood screw right through the back panel of the vanity so that it connects with the stud or panel. Tightening this will give you the added support you need to prevent this vanity from popping off the bar. Do not over tighten this screw, as you will be pulling the back panel towards the main wall. You are just adding some support so the vanity is secure.

That's great install info as per your video. I've been installing sinks for over 20 years. Cantilever/floating sinks need added strength to withstand leans and climbs. This might be a valid install for someone 6'+, but when you have people leaning and crawling on it, you are creating a heck of a lot of stress when you consider the load and multiply it by the distance to the hang bar.
I know; I've been there to see the aftermath: water damage from broken supply lines, broken wall tiles, drywall damage beyond the measurements of the cabinet, cracked floor tile, torn drain lines and the added mess of all the liquids stored in the cabinet as they spilled on the floor. At least it smelled nice.
If you want it done right with the ability to sleep at night, use the brackets on this or any other floating sink. Installation is not difficult and will add about 1.5hrs to the job.

Hello +Mike Catino, if you have purchased a Foremost wall hung vanity, the mounting strip should be in the box and the bracket should be pre-attached to the vanity. If your looking to replace the parts, feel free to contact customer service at 1 (888) 256_7551 to replace the parts. If it is not a Foremost product, we suggest you call the vanity manufacturer and they can better assist you.
