    This is 💯 correct; The Brazilian 🔥 started fading away ever since they started shipping young prospects out to Europe.

    Even in those years they introduced their rising stars to Europe, but it didn't make them to lose their flair,this Brazilian squad needs a strategic coach who will establish a team spirit 😮😮

    Excellent expose. I agree with your sentiment. But we need to look at the quality of Brazilian coaches also. For example, persons are saying Vini is underperforming for BRazil, but no one is acknowledging that a coach nurtured him at his club side to being a team leader. If Brazil has a high caliber coach as does Real Madrid, Brail would be a different team. Coaching is a bigger problem than the available players.

    I don't think shipping young players is the reason. R9 was shipped to PSV at 18 for example, same as all these players like Vini and Rodrygo. There were many sold to Europe under 20 in the past 30 years of football.
    I think it's a matter of change of style of play in world football in which the brazilian flair style no longer fits/works. And because it no longer fits Brazil itself is not building those skills (Argentina, Colombia, and other latin american countries are doing the same BTW). So an 12 year old kid is spending more time in training resistance, strength, and their tactical role is defined in the team already at that age.
    That being said, I don't think these changes justify this situation of not winning titles in a relatively long time because every nation is developing their talents this very same way.
    All countries are playing in a very similar style and tactics is playing a larger role than individual talent so you have Eslovenia and Austria for example beating teams with a huge footballing history. It's more that everybody is getting "pretty good" at football so it's more competitive. Brazil stood out that much in the past because the other teams "kind of sucked"hahaha. The gap in talent was HUGE. I mean, if you put 2002 Germany against current day Germany and the current Germany would most likely beat them. As the sport becomes more popular internationally the harder it will be for teams to win several Euros, Copa Americas and world cups in a row.
    I love how people are all shocked and "this is over" and all fatalistic about this when in 2001 Brazil lost against HONDURAS and the years after 1998 until 2002 were pretty miserable. Brazil, like any other team, has a history of swaying and having bad times followed by good times. It's not the first time there is a large gap in winning titles, in 1994 Brazil hadn't won a world cup in 24 years. It's almost like people have no memory. I think it's because content creators nowadays are in their 20s so they weren't born or were too young to know this happened before. I was 12 in 2002 so I remember all the drama around that team.

      I was about to write a comment and then I saw yours, so basically I agree with everything you said. I'd also add that an average footballer today is more technical and has more freestyle moves in the bag than an average player from the era of football we all love and miss. It is just that freedom and player expression are suppressed since everything is warped around winning and efficiency. I am saying for years now that football is in dire need of rule changes, that would increase the distances between the defensive lines and allow more freedom for offensive players, since all defensive schemes are so rigid and efficient, but they result in boring football and backline possession. Removing offside comes to mind.

    • @marihutten
      @marihutten Před 7 dny +1

      @@LANMEE2 true that. I think we'll soon be a limit on the amount of defensive players inside the box. I would not be surprised if some type of rule in like 20uears from now stops teams from putting all 10 field players in the box with the goal keeper during most of the game. That Brazil Costa Rica game had the entire team in the box for half the game. Brazil would bring the ball to their half to try to make the players spread out and they wouldn't. Then they blame Brazil for not winning against them when it was close to impossible to score with that much defense and a reduced field which made defending easier.
      "oh but Ronaldinho would have scored on that game" play back every time the Brazil team beat costs Rica before and the team Played they actually moved around and tried to score, they hadn't faced that degree of parking the bus level 3000

      @@marihutten Yeah, I would love for them to be more proactive with the rules, NBA is doing such a great job with small rule adjustments in order to deliver the best entertainment product. Because thats all the sport is primarily, an entertainment.

    Because of Neymar the new coach of Brazil was sacked in Santos. And today Neymar feels a threat of his position with Brazil while this coach is there. May be he will not be with the squad of 2026. So he wants to have a support from players to get rid of this coach. That is why Ronaldinho said i will not watch this copa america. It is a campaign against a new coach.
