ഞാൻ 4 വർഷം മുമ്പ് Activa എടുത്തപ്പോൾ സെന്റർ കമ്പാർട്ട്മെന്റ് കീ വച്ച് തുറക്കാൻ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് വന്നു.അവർ ഒരുപാട് ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ടും തുറക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല...അവസാനം ഓയിൽ ഒക്കെ കൊടുത്ത് തിരിച്ചപ്പോൾ തുറന്നു...പിന്നേം അതെ പ്രശ്നം...അങ്ങനെ 8 മണിക്കൂർ ഹോണ്ട ഷോറൂമിൽ ഇരുന്നിട്ടാണ് ഞാൻ വണ്ടി എടുത്തത്..... പിന്നെ test-drive വണ്ടിയുടെ കാര്യം... വീട്ടിലെ കാർ ഞങ്ങൾ നോക്കാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ലാസ്റ്റ് പീസ്,അതും ഞങൾ test-drive ചെയ്ത അതേ കാർ.... ഡെലിവറി സമയത്ത് ഞാൻ പുറത്തായിരുന്നു....ഞാൻ വീട്ടിൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ അന്ന് കണ്ട അതേ കാർ...കിലോമീറ്റർ കൂടിയതിന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞത് ഇത് calicut ന്ന് വരുന്ന വണ്ടിയാണെന്ന്........ ഇപ്പൊൾ അങ്ങനെ പോകുന്നു...എൻജിൻ ബേ തുറന്നാൽ കാണാം തുരുമ്പ് പിടിച്ച പാർട്സ് 🙄🙄
I liked that 30 kms trip thing, even I tried it in my bike, it wasn't intentional, it happened, also it was helpful to sink with the rhythm of bike. I would like add one more thing ie., the initial 1000 kms (or if possible till second service) done in a new bike decides the engine life of a bike. If you are able control your adrenaline rush and maintain a speed >60 or what ever speed below 4500 rpm (it will be different for different bikes), and post the above specified limit, you can do as your wish (clocking top speeds, etc.,) then the bike's engine will run like years and years without any issue (expected to do the regular maintenance like engine oil change etc.,). I have experienced this personally with two different bikes already.

I got my new bike cb300R (2024) delivered on 3 rd April 2024. I have followed this video for the inspection. It helped me a lot. A point that I thought won't come across was the mistakes in the insurance paper. Only because Strell stressed it out, I verified it and guess what..the engine no was wrong. I got it rectified. Also minor scratches were in one plastic. I got it replaced then itself. Thank you @strell

I liked that 30 kms trip thing, even I tried it in my bike, it wasn't intentional, it happened, also it was helpful to sink with the rhythm of bike. I would like add one more thing ie., the initial 1000 kms (or if possible till second service) done in a new bike decides the engine life of a bike. If you are able control your adrenaline rush and maintain a speed >60 or what ever speed below 4500 rpm (it will be different for different bikes), and post the above specified limit, you can do as your wish (clocking top speeds, etc.,) then the bike's engine will run like years and years without any issue (expected to do the regular maintenance like engine oil change etc.,). I have experienced this personally with two different bikes already.

I got my new bike cb300R (2024) delivered on 3 rd April 2024. I have followed this video for the inspection. It helped me a lot.
A point that I thought won't come across was the mistakes in the insurance paper. Only because Strell stressed it out, I verified it and guess what..the engine no was wrong. I got it rectified. Also minor scratches were in one plastic. I got it replaced then itself.
