    J Lo did not walk out on Spain. He agreed to join Real Madrid after the World Cup but wanted to keep it under wraps until after the tournament. However Madrid announced it, and Spanish FA did not like it.

    I think the point has been made before but a big problem is having the academy players training miles away from the first team players
    It must make it more difficult to try putting a youngster in to try in training

    I don't think J-Lo walking out on other clubs is necessarily a bad thing. If it's not going well and he decides to walk that's a good thing. It's Moyes stubbornness to see out his contract that left a little bad after taste.

      @512Squared Před 11 dny +1

      First five months of the season, you'd say it was a good decision, great league position, won the group in the Europa. January window was a disaster and it went downhill from there.

    Moyes can't evolve because he doesn't understand tactical football. He's one of the last of a dying breed of old school dinosaur manager like the other relics Tony Pullis, Steve Bruce etc. What's the saying ... Old dog, new tricks

    • @512Squared
      @512Squared Před 11 dny +1

      Absolute rubbish. Moyes tactics, with a double pivot 4,2,3,1, are used by a scutch of top managers, including Guardiola,Tuchel, Pochettino, Postecoglu, Mourinho, ten Haag (still regarded as a top coach), Flick. They just have better players to do it with, so they can quickly transition from a low-block to a mid-block, because they have the pace at the back to cover the ball over the top into space. But look how Man U suffered like we do, having a slow Maguire in that role on the right of defence. We got stuck in low-block because 1) our players couldn't deal with the high press, and Moyes didn't want to apply a high press. Interestingly, when we did start to do that more after Xmas, our results got worse. It's all about the personnel you have. And no, it isn't just that Moyes built the team, it's that we prioritised our attack, and our Rolls Royce defender Aguerd turned out to be a bit fragile and a bit inconsistent. But you could see the idea. Moyes knew our weakness and was trying to fix it. In normal times, he'd have another summer window to shore up central defence.
      Honestly, some people embarrass themselves trying to talk about Moyes' tactics being outdated and are clearly clueless about tactics themselves.

    Can you imagine the 6 ,8 new players having to be signed? Sullivans choices,,, three or four from the under 21s two or three back in from loan one or two new players on a free B , Must be over 30
