    Thanks! In fact, there doesn't seem to be any Finnish instructions available for this thing either. The info inside of the box only tells you so much, but doesn't explain anything about the switches on the top left. Being a Finnish speaker, the only proper info I could find was your video, so cheers!

    Will it still work if i put it in 16:00 while the real time is 15:57?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 10 měsíci

      You can set the time at any day. It will activate each day on the same time you set it to. As long as there is power going to it. Just make sure the start is where the green marker is. Even if it's off by real time for a bit it will be fine. Just make sure the current time checker is close enough.

    The engine needs to be off when using this right?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 6 měsíci

      correct! It will run on its own getting power from the block you connect to.

    Hi,
    I tried to set timer for it over night, however, when I put itbfrom 6-8 it doesn’t charge even thought I put it at exact time of the night 20klo. Do you have some solutions?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před rokem +2

      Let's figure this out! 1. Did you check that it works without setting a timer? Did you see that the whole circle rotated during the night? You have to align the arrow/grey marker to your current time. The green part indicator has to be aligned to the time you want it to start. You have to rotate the whole thing to current time. Then push in and rotate to time of start with the green indicator. I've edited the description with more steps.

    is there anyway to have them on more than two hours ?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před rokem

      Unfortunately, no. I believe this idea is to heat your car right before leaving the house. This is because it heats the car and engine enough, saves electricity, and also keeping your car warm/heated during the whole night might start to attract rodents to your engine block. However, I do believe in your own home or lot you can agree to adjust the timer. More public ones like these are all time based.

      Some poles only allow you to use it 2 hours each day. If you heat your car once 2 hours straight you will not able to heat your car until next day

    Hey, thanks for your video. Can we set it to start after 8 hours for example ?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před rokem +2

      Yes! That’s the whole idea behind this gadget. Set your indicator to current time (the triangle alignment). This should remain the same and doesn’t need changing after (unless for daylight saving). Then you set the green marker to the time you want the actual electricity to be fed. This way it will run for 2h or so and then stop when it reaches the red zone. The circles move as time passes. So if you want it daily to start at 8am it will do that, only needs to be set once. Ask away if you have more questions.

    • @howlingbeats2544
      @howlingbeats2544 Před 11 měsíci

      You can't, you're also not permitted to do that at pretty much any property.

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 10 měsíci

      As mentioned it's not permitted, however I've seen some housing companies agreeing to install an adapted (for an additional fee) to the property. This type of stuff always has to be checked with your property manager.

    Can you charge you electric car from it? What's the maximum amount of power you can draw from it? Thank you.

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 2 lety

      I have seen people use an adapter with this, or modified an existing outlet to suit their electric car needs. However how efficient it is I unfortunately do not know. A car dealership or a housing/plot owner would know more how you can use these officially.

    Did you get the interior heater installed separately or did it come pre-installed?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před rokem

      I had the dealership install both at the same time.

    • @howlingbeats2544
      @howlingbeats2544 Před 11 měsíci

      Defa makes the best heaters, they are used everywhere in Finland and are easy to install.

    does the charging pole charge the cars battery as well?

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 10 měsíci

      I’ve seen some cars use an adapter for it agreed by the housing company. You might be limited for 2h time wise only. Unfortunately I have never used it myself to charge.

    How to disable the timer?

    • @howlingbeats2544
      @howlingbeats2544 Před 11 měsíci

      Flip the breaker, then the outlet doesn't get power, or just turn the timer to a time when it's not on.

    • @macamev
      @macamev  Před 10 měsíci

      The timer goes off automatically when it ends or reaches the red area.
