All those herbs really do have digestive remedy properties.. charcoal will absorb the nasties, thistle can help with fever and the runs, likewise valerian will calm cramps and aid restfulness. So they aren't just random items.
How is it that you're so knowledgable about the game, but you are rubbish at playing it?

Yeah man I completely agree. Watching this dudes content is cringy sometimes. He comes off as a complete fucking idiot pertaining to the most mundane tasks. Yet he’s slowly approaching 2mill subs and warhorse invited him to check out modern Bohemia.

1:00:36 Not to be a dick about it, but this far into the game and you still see the green check mark that informs you about a "completed objective" as a "new objective"? It also literally says "Objective completed", wow ... :D
I COMPLETELY goofed up this quest. Here's how: first I killed the guard at the shed and lickpicked in only to find that he needed help and couldn't talk to me. So I went to make the remedy but I didn't know how to read so I went to learn to read and made the wrong potion 4 times so I had to travel to rattay and get more ingredients. I finally made it but it turns out it was wrong because I told the guy it was the plague so when I gave the bandit the remedy he just died. Then I completely forgot about the other people and left for my mission and they all died. Now everyone in merhojed hates me. Rip
EDIT: there's barely anyone left to hate me because they're all dead though

Buy a noble saddle (with 4 saddlebags) and a good horseshoe so he can go faster!
The best one (for me) is the Warhorse Jenda. It costs 2550 Groschen from Merhojed.

Warhorse Jenda is named after Daniel Varva's dog that passed away during development.
Oh, I didnt knew that was his dog. I tought that was some person that passed away.
I think thats why this horse is the most equilibrated horse in the game.

To really play an RPG you need to decide your characters alignment and then stick with it, even if it makes you take a hard choice sometimes. I played as a soldier/ranger type who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. In a past episode you rode past a woman crying on the side of the rode, for me I had to stop. Even though their was a chance of ambush I stopped to help. Turns out there was no ambush, she was crying because her baby was starving.
An hour!!!! Oh my god people rejoice! Thanks eso!
The best part was when you walked right over Mathias's face after talking to him.. hahaha

I bought the Slepnir horse and that horse is honedtly the best. 400 carry weight and 30 speed.
Bought a physical copy today shoved it into me ps4 and update is gonna take 54hours I think my internet is in the 1400s

I bet the bandits poisoned the water after they were defeated, out of spite.
But would it then be waater poisoning? I mean water poisoning means something rotted in that water but not actually poisoned with poison. So they probably put something rotten in here. Accidentally or not.
wu1ming9shi that's what I'm saying, like they dropped a dead animal in the well. Which poisoned people who drank from the well but not those who drank from the spring. Water poisoning ended up being the problem, and an NPC alluded to the bandits having done it after the failed raid.

John Hooliganus He LITERIALLY BOUGHT THE GAME FOR 60 DOLLARS I think just for that he should be able to pick around as much as he wants this isn't an exact walkthrough it's an open world realistic rpg.
Just an FYI, you never boiled the alchemy recipe, no idea why it worked anyway but you have to pull the lever 3 times before it starts boiling, a 4th pull will boil for one turn as far as I can tell. Also you do the pulls together not separate, the help page talks about how you need to pull it vigorously to boil
It does not work. I started by just pulling once for one turn. An when it said for two turns i pulled once again AFTER it started to dim. And I've breweed dozens of potions this way. I think alchemy is bugged. Hmm but I did it before patch 1.3 maybe they changed it.
You ate out of a pot in a town filled with plague. I was expecting it to get you.

I haven't bought this game yet , but I was wondering does the game give you plenty of time to hone your skills. I have heard that you can miss out on quests if you take too long to do them. Does the main quest have pauses where you can go off and do other things? I'm sure it does but just wanted to ask anyway.
Cottonmouth78 yes it does. After you reach rattay you can go anywhere.
Eso you should've talked to Farengar of any other court wizard and he could've helped you with the potion.

I actually saved everyone I found out the cure on first try but it was hard reading through gberish at my reading level:
Unfortunately I killed the watchmen because he attacked me after I spoke with the prisoner. At this point I thought Im in right since I thought Im outranking some watchmen and he kinda brought it on himself. Interestngly enough I didnt get bad repotation a prison for it. I also let them have the prisoner after I questioned him.

EASTER EGG: you guys know that the horse named Šemík cannot die by fall? To get the joke check the legend about Šemík the horse :)
Except that Šemík did die after carrying his master home. He incurred a lethal wound.
