The key to success with any corporation is innovation. I'd like to see a set of locking gooseneck pliers, like vice grips with a 90 deg bend. Although the shown wrenches are fine, I often find use for a more narrow gooseneck for tight work. Ironically the cheaper devices accomplish that a little better. I'll have to try those pro pliers for better leverage.

I am curious how those Crescent compound cutting pliers hold up after several uses. I like the compound feature a lot but i am leaning more towards the Milwaukee Long nose and cutters.

I'm slightly perplexed by this as a review. How good are they as compared to what? Why this brand compared to another? The channel lock pliers are pretty much run of the mill, but probably cannot match something that is really well designed and thought out at this point, and there are probably much better wire cutters as well. The compound action on some of the other pliers might be interesting, because that is not so commonly available in other similar products.

I have crescents from both sides of the ocean and aside from the engraved place of origin I can't find any difference. I understand the sentiment about buying US but we are the ones who bought the cheap imports in such huge numbers none of the companies had a choice if they wanted to remain in business. None of these companies that I have spoken with enjoy dealing with the import nightmares but until business comes from the American buyers, they will remain where they can survive.
