  • This fabulous "cotton castle" (A.k.a. the Nordisk Asgard) provides luxurious, spacious accommodation for 4 to 6 people. With is cool and comfortable interior climate it's perfect for summer car camping or glamping with the family. It can also handle the typical British summer, so if it does rain the Nordisk's Technical Cotton will keep you and your possessions nice and dry.
    Tent Weight: 16kg
    Floor Weight: 8.9kg

    P.s. We forgot to mention the little plastic cap you see hanging off the door guy line. This slides onto the tip of the door pole outside the tent to stop rain water from sneaking in down the pole.

    I have a nordisk asgard and would suggest before staking the guylines to just extend the middle pole to its max extension, then after the guy lines tighten the floor adjustments then peg the extra rain protection flap on the floor with extra candycane pegs instead of looping them around the D ring pegs, will get much better set up that way

    Great video ! Which size of mattress (for 2 people) could you fit inside? You spoke about a exped megamat if I understood well ?

      Pretty much anything will fit inside the Asgard as it is so spacious, but yes, the mat we refer to here is the Exped MegaMat 10 Duo:

    hi from Japan !
    Did you set 19.6㎡'s Zipfloor to 12.6㎡'s tent ??

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 3 lety

      The 19.6m floor is designed for the 19.6 Asgard, meaning it's far too big for the 12.6. It'd stick out and get all soggy! Harry

    How will this tent do in heavy rain over a few days ?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 2 lety

      It's absolutely fine. Just try not to touch the canvas when it's wet, as this will allow water to seep through. Harry

    is there one with 100 cotton?

    • @trekitt
      @trekitt  Před 6 lety +1

      I'm afraid there isn't one made by Nordisk. The Polyester and Cotton mix ensures the optimum level of breathability and durability, so you'll find most will contain a mixture of fabrics.

    Kurulumu yapılan çadır, Asgard 12.6m değil. Yanlış bilgilendirme.

      @trekitt  Před 3 lety +3

      Hi Max, I'm pretty sure that the 12.6m refers to the internal square metres. Mind you, Will is pretty tall!
