    Teach Dem you are creating history by documenting our legends stories. In years to come these interviews will be valuable history for years to come. To hear & see our legends is a joy. Bongo Herman is a cornerstone to our music, this man must have played on so many tunes & look how him humble. Sending more life & blessings.

    Yet another banger, Teach Dem. You never stop suprising me. I was honoured to visit the, Bob marley museum, in dec 2019. My children and wife chose to go inside and I stupidly sat outside in the car, as I had seen the museum tour on the internet. My brother in law pointed out a man stting in a corner of the yard and said, that is bongo herman. I sat and observed this gentleman, on and off, over about an hour and a half. I knew the name, but not the magnitude of the man, until now.
    I really, really, wish i had approached him and struck up a conversation. What a great human being and I'm blessed to have spent that time in his presence, even though he was unaware...lol

    Manners and respect to Bongo Herman. My sister said you lived in Trench Town back in the days. Top Trench town.. Just love his drumming. Yes Rita lived on Greenwich Park Rd. These people went through tuff times !! There was still❤️ It hurt to see these you g youths walking and taking lives rampantly!!

    The great Bongo Herman was a pleasure listening to his demonstration and hearing him beat the drum the last time I visited the Bob Marley Museum. It was the first time meeting him, hearing about him since childhood and his famous chimmy.

    Teach Dem if only you knew what this interview did to me it brought back so much memories of my childhood especially when Sir Bongo Herman brought up the Rastafarians from East kingston Count Ossie Brother Sam ,Brother Douglas, the sound of the Drum was a part of the memories in Rockfort. .     As he say Micheal Jackson them was staying in Sheraton hotel my blood run cold, cause my mother in law was working at Sheraton in 1975 and she told me the same story, that is what you call confirmation.
