I am 53 years old, and I just now discovered you, Seether. I just subscribed and binged all the songs I could find by Seether. Where have you been all my life! I am in love.
Its 10PM on a Friday night in the middle of rural America, my dog asleep on the side of me, drinking a strong ass captain and coke. Been there, feel this song to the core. This CD is one of the greatest. You guys are rock legends, dont let anybody play you different. Thanks.
Saw Seether perform at a small club in Little Rock Arkansas many years ago. The show was amazing, but the band was so sweet to their fans. Shaun came outside after they played, talked to the fans individually and signed Tshirts and autographs, and let you take pictures with him. Seether is a band that appreciates their fans, and Seether we appreciate you. Thank you.
I saw seether perform in 2018 Charleston SC, at the 98 rockfest, and they were amazing. I wish it was kinda like your experience though, he acted like he was shy, didnt say anything before performing like the other bands did, performed songs and then left. Still was a amazing performance though
I think Shaun is the type of personality that keeps to himself, but he is very sweet and friendly if you get to talk to him one on one. It was a small venue, early in their touring of America, so they weren't as stressed or rushed. But again, I feel very strongly that they appreciate their fans.
@@pamelabugh1812 yeah, I also wanted to say that there was a pass to where you got to go backstage and meet the bands before they played and I didnt get it because it was sold out, but I'm sure he and his band was really nice!
Also, Tied My Hands was written when Shaun was performing with Sarin Gas. The original is raw, and more of an ''unplugged'' sound, and worth checking out if you aren't familiar with his early career. But this version, in my opinion, is the best and closest to the original.
@@shanejohnson1433 it is plugged but it is still live and acoustic, my point is the talent level is on that level-he has an amzing voice and they mesh together as a band. I have walked out of i dont know how many shows but ill give you a few -Ozzy Ozbourne-fucking aweful, Red hot chilli peppers- Not sure how they ever got signed-aweful. Even left a bon jovi concert which I wanted too anyway cuz they are straight bubbled gum pussy band. Some bands absolutely suck and they would never do a small venue like this or they would be exposed. ACDC tickets were a couple grand and they suck ass in concert.
African American born and raised in the south Bronx projects. Now a grown man . In my 2 family home, in the living room, 11:32pm Thursday night. Night off from work, drinking a modest whiskey and Pepsi. This music is amazing. Music has absolutely no color
God this song is such perfection. His voice..the lyrics... Pat Callahan. It sounds like a studio recording. They were so on point during this whole show.
When my husband and I first started dating I had told him I loved this song. He’s a musician, and one day I got home from a long day at work, and he messaged me a video of him playing this. He learned it just for me. That’s when I knew I loved him
Did the same thing to the lady I love. But through a painting. Spent 200 hours on it. And She immediately put me in the friend zone. haven’t seen her in 2 years 😅
Can you remember when when we used to cry Never in distress? But can you picture then how we used to pride ourselves on neatness? I can't understand, what you meant to me You made me wild, then you tied me hands, ooh Can you remember when when we used to laugh at those mistakes we made? Can you picture then how we used to drive and never reach the end? 'Cause I can't understand, what you meant to me You made me wild, then you tied my hands, ooh Since you went away made me find I have nothing to say Since you went away made me find I have nothing to say 'Cause I can't understand, what you meant to me You made me wild, then you tied my hands 'Cause I can't understand, what you meant to me You made me wild, then you tied my hands, ooh You tied my hands, ooh [x6]
One of my favorite Seether songs. This album is personally my favorite by far. Shaun's voice is soothing and so heart wrenching. You can feel the emotion in it. How truly powerful. This is why I love music... this.
Its not talent people lack these days. They lack soul. Great music like this comes from the pits of a soul in distress. Instead of taking that pain and turning into something special, we just make whiny and entitled tik toks now.
Currently going through the most difficult time of my life, struggling with addiction, and so much pain caused by so many. These lyrics are so raw and pure!!!!
I’m right there with you going through the same thing and trying to cope with the losses of close loved one’s. If you ever need anything like somebody to talk to without judgement and with understanding I’ll drop my email for you. If you want send me an email and we can exchange numbers from there. Much love and prayers to you
Ask yourself what is it I REALLY like to do, REALLY want to do, REALLY makes me happy. Get away from those that don't support those three things and tell yourself to make it a week without your addictive choice, not a day but a week. After one week your body and mind will start to come back to you to where you can make more rational choices. I suggest getting out into nature if possible for that first week and go from there. You'll be amazed at the end of that first week how different things will seem. Clarity is the word I feel that best describes how it seems. You'll see clearly who and what is fucking your world up then it's up to you to show the world the real you. Oh yeah, and after that first week you shouldn't physically need any of your addictive substances you just have to tell yourself I do not want to fall into the pit of misery again. That's how I beat addiction three times, coke, meth, then pills. Each about 10 years apart but each conquered the same way. I got away from my loser friends or acquaintances I should say went out into woods and did a little bit of fishing in the streams I found and never looked back to each one of those. I still party, I smoke a little weed and have a couple drinks but I've never had a problem over doing either one of those. I'm a night time smoker and I don't like to get drunk but I do like a nice drink with my meal or while I'm watching a game or something. It's all about growing up and being an adult also some people never had the chance to grow up and just got thrown into adulthood. Everybodys situation is different and I hope you can use what little advice I gave you in any small way to help you out. Just know there's people out here who love you and will look out for you. Sometimes you got to find them sometimes they'll find you. Good luck in all that you do April. And just remember we make our own luck for the most part. From Austin Texas, peace out
This song is so fucking heavy, makes you really see how important, how deep your emotions truly can go ,when ya truly love a person you should want only the best for them , with or without you be happy you
I can't believe I discovered this song so late - especially since I've been listening to Seether since I was in middle school. I find that every now and then I continue to come across some hidden gems of theirs. This was an absolutely beautiful song.
I love this version, it has more passion and feeling than the album version. This is such a beautiful song, imust have played this a hundred times and it keeps getting better every time I listen.
I'm so excited. I'm going to Chevelle Sunday night. I wish Seether was coming around my area. I'm dying to see them. I don't think there's one song I've heard from them that I don't like.
Most people don’t know. This show was suppose to be all electric and super hard. But Shawn was sick when it was time to play. He said we either do it acoustic or not at all. And this was the result. Absolutely amazing!
This song hits me so hard. Played it after my Dad's funeral. It's hard to even listen anymore, but I woke up with it in my head this morning. Missing you always Pop.
i love seether he is sad and happy at the same time.my girlfriend and my kat got ran over a few months ago i miss you worm. daddy and mommy miss you and always will
Very much Agreed- Musically, lyrically, acoustically; They tell a story with passion by showing what they felt in their words. Exceptionally gifted in every facet- I rank them w/ Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains LIVE and unplugged.. Seether is there....
I could write a twenty five page letter in this song. About a teenager who introduced another to rock and metal. Long story short. This would be the last song I was with my favorite person in the world getting high AF and listening to this song. Days would follow but this will forever be a time scarred in my memory. 😢😢😢😢 From carefree kids to losing it all and left here feeling guilty as I walked along side. RIP brother I miss you everday.
I stumbled across this song while listening to seether radio on pandora.. I didnt believe it was live until I looked it up on CZcams..that's how good he sounds 💙 I love this song!!
This particular version of this exact song genuinely got me through a really rough breakup with an ex. We both became so toxic for each other & I felt like she had tied my hands. & really it got to the point where I have absolutely nothing to say.
Can you remember when When we used to live Never in distress Or can you picture then Only used to pride Ourselves on neatness I can't understand What you meant to me You made me wild Then you tied my hands You tied my hands, ooh Can you remember when When we used to laugh At those mistakes we made Can you picture then How we used to drive And never reach the end 'Cause I can't understand What you meant to me You made me wild Then you tied my hands You tied my hands Since you went away Made me find I have nothing to say Since you went away Made me find I have nothing to say 'Cause I can't understand What you meant to me You made me wild Then you tied my hands 'Cause I can't understand What you meant to me You made me wild Then you tied my hands You tied my hands You tied my hands You tied my hands You tied my hands You tied my hands You tied my hands
This song really hits me I the heart and in the brain... If ya know what I'm saying?? I think everybody has had at least one relationship that you loved the person so insanely much!! And you think they feel the same... And maybe they do who knows!! But, something happens and you gotta split up your hands are tied lol The pain is unreal!! And if you truly love em it never goes away no matter what... Trust Me I Know unfortunately!! Shaun Morgan is the shit btw🤘🏻
My favourite genre My favourite subgenre My favourite band My favourite influence My favourite song My favourite version of the song I gotta love this!! Do you?
ya the acoustic version sounds much better Shaun Morgan puts so much emotion into singing it live I'm not a concert person How I'd pay to see them live especially just for this song
Music is such a wonderful thing when it relates so strongly to your personal life. When it even exceeds the beautiful words and music of the artists them selves. Thanks to all the artists that share the moments of my life.
Seether, has helped me through most of the toughest times in my life. I believe, that pain changes people. In most ways tht, normal people don't realize. 💯🚬
Literally from the moment the song started, I went straight back to a very painful and very beautiful time in my life. He sounds so beautiful…I don’t know how he didn’t get as much attention as some other singers.
Tied my Hands hell yes it don't get any better folks!!! I'm a very lucky person to be in this age of Seether. I listened to him 18 years ago and will until I'm buried in the ground!!! Me and my women hell yes..
In my own opinion, greatest song ever. The only thing better is the album version and normally I like live versions but damn, both are great. So haunting.
damn!! this is what happens when the whole band is on point and feeling it that night, this was an epic and underrated show.they should have done an acoustic tour with this album.
One Cold Night, an album sung in a bar somewhere in Indiana. & as a fellow Hoosier and long time fan of Seether I wanted to say that this album is banging.
Is their song or a cover, this was a pure luck find…very very good song… if this is their song this version here is amazing.. can’t stop listening to it!
He is truly one of my heroes except for my dad he was the one who actually showed this magic to me and ever since I listen to it daily. Gosh when has he ever made a bad song I mean like never. One of the reasons i love his songs is because they are so meaningful and deep and most of them i can really relate to. He really is a hero my parents split up when I was 5 and when some times it hits me hard I listen to seether it really helps, when my parents were still together my dad would play seether songs,he still does today and you know how people sing lullabys well seether is my lullaby ever since I was little I would literally fall asleep to there songs so does my little brother and he is 3 he really is one i really hope i meet him one day
I love every Seether song Shaun sings but One Cold Night is the best performance I've ever seen.I read somewhere Shaun actually was sick and had a cold when they were filming this.
Saron Gas - Fragile - album. An amazing song. I still own their first and only album as Saron Gas. That album got me threw many trials and hardships. That was from year 1999, and especially 2001. I was 18. I'm now 38, 2020, and this band still is my go to band. Amazing group of guys. The comparison to Kurt and Nirvana. People need to understand the connection of how Shaun used Kurt's music during his own life's struggles growing up. As what has happened with me and Seethers music. It's not the style or genre that he writes or composers, but the similarity in how a band and lead singer was used as channelling point of pain, redemption and recovery. He lost his brother. I lost mine in 2013. Don't stop strumming Shaun Welgemoed
I am 54 just now discovering Seether and I grew up with my dad who still plays in a rock band I was a country and partly rock bumpkin, my cousins are the Everly Brothers so I’ve grownup around a variety of music but I will say I absolutely love this song and I know we have all felt this at one time or another!!!!LOVE IT!! Would be honored to see them live!!!

Staind

Chris Cornell .. He was with audioslave and sound garden
@@cerealrakist7360 oh we all know who chris was.

Love Seether
Very much Agreed- Musically, lyrically, acoustically; They tell a story with passion by showing what they felt in their words. Exceptionally gifted in every facet- I rank them w/ Pearl Jam and Alice in Chains LIVE and unplugged.. Seether is there....
Godsmack as well
I was just thinking that after AiC Unplugged this by favorite live album.
Yep absolutely

U gotta hear this track!!
Best live version of a song EVER.
Shaun's voice, Aaron Lewis and Gregg Allman-strand me on an island with their music and leave me there for life.
He gives me cold chills... envoking and captivating .. And he didn't feel well when he recorded this. Just incredible.
Hands down one of the most underrated bands ever. so good live. This song will forever in my 🖤
Shaun Morgan is by far the best writer of this era .writes from the heart Love these guys
And in a Blue moon comes a song by this man, and his band, will last 10,000 years. Please keep up the great music.

this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🤘
This particular version of this exact song genuinely got me through a really rough breakup with an ex. We both became so toxic for each other & I felt like she had tied my hands. & really it got to the point where I have absolutely nothing to say.
Can you remember when
When we used to live
Never in distress
Or can you picture then
Only used to pride
Ourselves on neatness
I can't understand
What you meant to me
You made me wild
Then you tied my hands
You tied my hands, ooh
Can you remember when
When we used to laugh
At those mistakes we made
Can you picture then
How we used to drive
And never reach the end
'Cause I can't understand
What you meant to me
You made me wild
Then you tied my hands
You tied my hands
Since you went away
Made me find
I have nothing to say
Since you went away
Made me find
I have nothing to say
'Cause I can't understand
What you meant to me
You made me wild
Then you tied my hands
'Cause I can't understand
What you meant to me
You made me wild
Then you tied my hands
You tied my hands
You tied my hands
You tied my hands
You tied my hands
You tied my hands
You tied my hands
This song really hits me I the heart and in the brain... If ya know what I'm saying?? I think everybody has had at least one relationship that you loved the person so insanely much!! And you think they feel the same... And maybe they do who knows!! But, something happens and you gotta split up your hands are tied lol The pain is unreal!! And if you truly love em it never goes away no matter what... Trust Me I Know unfortunately!! Shaun Morgan is the shit btw🤘🏻

U gotta hear this track!!
this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🤘
Literally from the moment the song started, I went straight back to a very painful and very beautiful time in my life. He sounds so beautiful…I don’t know how he didn’t get as much attention as some other singers.
He don't care for the recognition of fame...dude just loves too write and play!
The band is not either british or american...that is the main reason by which this gorgeous band is not as famous as Pearl Jam ,Nirvana,etc..
I can't under why she tied your hands much love bobo
czcams.com/video/UyTLzUBDzYY/video.html
A must hear :) !!! :) !!!
Tied my Hands hell yes it don't get any better folks!!! I'm a very lucky person to be in this age of Seether. I listened to him 18 years ago and will until I'm buried in the ground!!! Me and my women hell yes..
Break Me Down, Tied My Hands, Imortality the list goes on and on they are the best and everybody knows it!!! You Rock Seether
In my own opinion, greatest song ever. The only thing better is the album version and normally I like live versions but damn, both are great. So haunting.
Are we related?
Seen the 8 times. They rocked them all. Great band.
This is so good but you must hear “ Whispering Wolf “ or “ The Wave Acoustic “ by SLT 🤘🐺🤘🐺🤘
I could go on and on about the good and bad times and the good and bad memories in my life. This song really hits the soul

Literally me!! I've been playing/listening to Tie My Hands & The Gift of repeat for over a week lbvs
damn!! this is what happens when the whole band is on point and feeling it that night, this was an epic and underrated show.they should have done an acoustic tour with this album.
Seether has one of the best accustic sounds around
Man, I don't know why I never gave these guys a chance. I barely started listening to them last year. Really good band
This band is will be & always be #1 in my book until the end 💯🤟🤟🤜🤛
One Cold Night, an album sung in a bar somewhere in Indiana.
& as a fellow Hoosier and long time fan of Seether I wanted to say that this album is banging.
Love everything about Seether, vocals to instruments.... Deff one of my top 10.
Unbelievable live performance !!!!!!
Is their song or a cover, this was a pure luck find…very very good song… if this is their song this version here is amazing.. can’t stop listening to it!
Seether justs keeps getting better and better!!!
Favorite band. Favorite song.
I'm going to say it one mote time. " My Man!" I love a lot of genres. He is one of our last last writer rock stars.
I'm 70 years old and these brothers are awesome
He is truly one of my heroes except for my dad he was the one who actually showed this magic to me and ever since I listen to it daily. Gosh when has he ever made a bad song I mean like never. One of the reasons i love his songs is because they are so meaningful and deep and most of them i can really relate to. He really is a hero my parents split up when I was 5 and when some times it hits me hard I listen to seether it really helps, when my parents were still together my dad would play seether songs,he still does today and you know how people sing lullabys well seether is my lullaby ever since I was little I would literally fall asleep to there songs so does my little brother and he is 3 he really is one i really hope i meet him one day
This song saves my life on sad days, keeps me sane and in a save place !!!♥♥♥Thank you Shaun!
Merci ! Quelle délicatesse, quelle gravité, quelle profondeur... Vous accompagnez mes jours lucides, foncièrement lucides.
This is so good but you must hear “ Whispering Wolf “ or “ The Wave Acoustic “ by SLT 🤘🐺🤘
I love every Seether song Shaun sings but One Cold Night is the best performance I've ever seen.I read somewhere Shaun actually was sick and had a cold when they were filming this.

You made me wild. Then you tied my hands.
Shaun Morgan is fuckin exceptional.
I keep coming back to this.
The AIC influence throughout all of their music is very evident, but none more so than this song. Layne would be proud
this is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “The Wave” by SLT 🤘🐺🎧
Life Savers.

This is so good but you must hear “Whispering Wolf” or “Live Not Survive” by SLT 🤘🐺🎶
