  • A large scale research project is taking a closer look at mule deer in the Texas Panhandle. Three Texas universities have teamed up with the Parks and Wildlife Department to determine how agriculture may affect mule deer movements and survival in this region.

Man that seems like a very traumatic experience for those poor critters. Hopefully the research is useful

Yes James, the deer hybridize with mules. This gives rise to the mule-deer. Duh!

I like the idea, but what we really need in Texas, is clean and abundant water. Too much water is contaminated. Lots of city's in Texas put their "RECYCLED" water back in the lakes. It gets medication and other crap, that cannot be filtered out, back in the water supply. Fish in Lake Lewisville, have tested positive for prozac, and other medications, because of this. Lake Worth in Forth Worth has been majorly polluted for many decades, as well. When most Texas lakes that empty into the Gulf of Mexico, they are polluted, not only by companies, citys, but by washoff of gas stations, and people doing all kinds of dumb stuff.
