Not only is it misleading from Fenix, these reviewers are doing the same thing. When I hear someone say that now a days, their review means less to me.
@@Xavier818sfv If not all, most. Their max output is typically 40 seconds-2 minutes and it will automatically step down to the 2nd highest setting from the models I looked at. Most advertising doesn't tell you that it steps the output down. It steps down the output because of the heat buildup in the head of the flashlight.
@Xavier818sfv all handhelds step down shortly from turbo due to overheating. Around 1000 lumens is currently where technology is at to run for a while
2800 lumens for a maximun of 30 seconds, then it will stepdown to about 750 lumens and keeps for 2:30 hours...
Yeah 2800 straight is ridicuolus marketing speech
