We Nigerians feel the same way. As a Lagosian I am biased when it comes to Lagos and I will always choose Lagos because of its perks. Abuja is land locked. Lagos has many beautiful beaches and it’s on the ocean and the Sea. Abuja doesn’t even have any great river besides one small lake all the rick folks already grabbed. So for me it’s always going to be Lagos.

Not the finest roads in Africa but Nigeria alone.
Nigerian roads are never always built to European or Asian standards because Nigerian roads are built with opened gutters full of plastics garbage and filth instead of underground drainage systems.
Nigerian roads are never cleaned. They are often packed with red or brown dust on the road corners. In Europe, Asia and most Southern African nations, the roads are cleaned with automated street sweeping vehicles on a weekly basis. The only state with clean roads is Cross River. The roads in the rest of Nigeria are dumping grounds for garbage.
Nigerian roads often have no road markings, no road signs and no traffic lights.
If you want to see the best roads in Africa, check out the roads in Namibia, Angola and South Africa.
Their roads are built with markings, looking very polished and often with side walks which most Nigerian leaders lack the common sense to put on most of their roads. Even Nigerian cities all look like dumps due to money pocketing corruption and lack of proper management.
