Major developments going on around Nairobi though from BRT, rail, museums, highways, stadia, studios, skyscrapers and affordable housing. We've suffered decades of poor governance while Jo'Burg was thriving. Actually between 1978-2002 nothing was happening in Kenya besides theft of public resources and tribal clashes. The difference is that right now there is a new Nairobi that is emerging. The cityis a big construction site.everywhere you turn, major roads are being constructed.infrastructure being seriously modernized.I actually think that the Nairobi expressway road under construction will be the longest and one of it's kind in Africa.I might be wrong. But the fact is, I don't think that there's any city in Africa right now under so much construction. It blows my mind sometimes. Nairobi is the city to watch. Johannesburg might be ahead right now,but give it a few years and Nairobi will catch up, and probably overtake. Plus, Nairobi was recently voted as the best city to work and live in Africa, and 12th in the world by expatriates in 2021.you can check that out.but all in all, I am happy that Africa is on the move.

The speculation is that Kenyan government has a special unit of law enforcement agents that conduct summary executions and extrajudicial killings. I think those bent on xenophobia will not make a difference whether you're visiting or residing so you can still be a target and the price to pay can be high when it comes to it. Yes in SA there are white people, but they have lived in SA for over 400 years and classify themselves as South Africans. However, before you let jealousy overcome you, you must understand SA is a young democracy of 27 years. Before the democracy black people were deprived to owning wealth by the system, and it is going to take a while before we claim everything (as black South Africans). Besides we don't care who has it because a lot of us are able to live a quality life in our own country and it is a fact that white people handle their things with care and are diligent beings unlike most countries who cast them out instead of seeking to live in peace with them.
