@@samb3303 Unique in been the only capital city in the world with a National park within the city, Unique in having a mix of different ethnicities who live together peacefully therefore you can randomly find a community from Chile, with restaurants etc. Unique in that the local people have maintained their culture seen throughout the "matatus" street busses, street graffiti etc. Unique in that it has one of the best climates where you wouldnt need an AC,nor a heating system in the house, temperatures are moderate throughout the year..should i continue?🤷♀🤷♀😂😂

The same in Maputo that’s the reason the city it has earned the nicknames City of Acacias and the Pearl of the Indian Ocean because of acacias trees 🌲 everywhere in the city.
Johannesburg is totally deserving and it is still expanding with the the construction of a new city within a city called Waterfall City. It hosts the biggest mall in Africa and promises to have more skyscrapers. So South Africa has 2 cities at number 1 and 2. Watch out for Durban although it will be decades before it catches up with Cape Town and will never catch up with Johannesburg which is growing so fast that it now encroached into Pretoria territory.

Nigeria is only giant in population. But in gdp per capita and gni (which is the true measurement on country's wealth) Nigeria is not even included in the top 10 of Africas richest countries. Gdp nominal is not the right barometer if we measure how wealthy a nation is.

Fun that the tittle for the tallest building was alternating between Dar and Nairobi for many years. Now Addis Ababa decided to silence everyone. But Dar and Nairobi remain the two cities with many tallest buildings in East and Central Africa.

There's Durban, Pretoria and Port Elizabeth in SA that deserve to be here. Fun Fact: Durban even has more taller buildings than CT.
Thanks Hosea. Yeah, I was waiting for someone to bring up Durban. I will be making a separate video on Durban. Pretoria has 5 buildings with confirmed heights above 100 meters. and 3 more that are not confirmed. The tallest building in Port Elizabeth has an approximate height of 83 meters and so couldn't make it. Durban has 27 buildings with heights above 100 meters. More than even Johannesburg. Both Durban and Nairobi have more skyscrapers than Capetown but Capetown beats them when it comes to beautiful skyline. Modern Skyscrapers and beautiful skylines were factors. On the beauty part I feel like Luanda, Durban and Dar Es Salaam have the same vibe.

It doesn’t have more buildings than Joburg, it’s just that Joburg is very large, so some of its towns get counted separately…atleast in this case I see you’ve included Sandton…that’s correct. Durban is our Miami in this part of the world. It’s beautiful and cosmopolitan. You should rate to 10 largest Shopping malls in Africa (GLA) wise. Durban will feature as it has several large malls. 3rd in SA

Thanks Mwangi. Actually you are right Nairobi has more Skyscrapers than Capetown. I combined two factors two come up with the list. Apart from the number of Skyscrapers beauty of the skylines was also put into consideration.
Take for Example Cairo. Cairo has over 30 buildings with heights above 100 meters. Mostly old buildings that don't count when it comes to modern skylines. However their new city will change everything.
