Everything is so lush and green🌿🌱🍃it's beautiful.
Those are snow fences. Quoting Wikipedia, "A snow fence, like a sand fence, forces windblown, drifting snow to accumulate in a desired place. They are primarily employed to minimize the amount of snowdrift on roadways and railways."
That aerial shot at 5:36 is amazing with all the parts and colors forming perfect lines :))
Wonderful as usual Matt.. I love watching your videos. You have such good people skills!
Nice drone shots. Hope for warmer weather.
They look like something we use to prevent snow drifts from being to high. Might be something to be used to keep snow from drifting on to the farm it self.
That's some great footage!
Matt, for a temp "dead cat" filter, you can stop at a store selling craft materials or toys, (fur on the top of little toy trolls), and look for fake fur. It works pretty darn good in a pinch. Good Luck!
It looks like a great experience.
very good vlog, loving it.
Your trip is going amazing. The best luck in the way. Bless from Chile!
I never realized that it could still be so cold in late June in Japan. I guess you are pretty far north.
yes for snow they help with snow drifts.
You certainly get around
Maybe those things are used for drying out seaweed, or some type of vegetation.
"That's a big box !" sez the guy who pulled a box bigger than that with a trike.......lol
Who doesn't love the sound of a Harley.
Wet n cold is never nice.
👍
I bet he could do a wheely with tha big box lol
A little suggestion: it would be neat if u put a map and highlight the route in the beginning of the video. I don't know how much work that will take. But I think it's helpful for view to have a rough idea "oh he's on this path in this video" "oh he moved from here to there on the map".
Michael Han good idea!
Michael Han Have you checked out his website and the huge map it has?
JA YOE!!!
How is that thing going up-hill?
LOL I own IPO stock in facebook but rarely if ever log in. I only see your videos via youtube....oh the irony...LOL
Matt, how do you cope with the different power options, 110v in Japan and 220v elsewhere, while on your ride?
+sameerkm99 once your outside of the states everything is a variable voltage. I just make sure when I buy something it works both ways. Fried a modem when I first came to china and learned my lesson
How the heck are you riding that trike with sandals???? I'd be too worried my foot would slip off.
Matt, check out TokyoJoVlogs.. he's a youtubers I grew up with in Florida who lives and vlogs in Tokyo. May be interesting to see you guys get together. And it's always nice to have a conversation with an American when you've been away for so long! Check him out!
Ja Yoe...!
Probly used to mark the edges of the roads in Winter?
Qiyong Chen Snow barriers, seen them on videos up in Canada.
if you find out let us know thank you
Matt, why don't you put the Kanji of the Japanese cities names in the title? That way more Japanese users may find your channel.
....did you forget your shoes when you left the onsen??
HAHAH no... just wanted to run out of there fast.
LOVE the HARLEY's ; I've had 5. This one ; 2001 FLSTSI w Nostalgic sidecar ! If I find Pic in FB File... will try to send. I am OLD SCHOOL... NO CARMERA & still use a FLIP PHONE ! Yes; upgrade is needed, but people tell me: I'm on my way out. My touring DAYS are over; so ... VICARIOUS Living ...though You ! Ja Yoe
If it rains you should ask your money back!
Brrrr....for you and wet! 117 here today and very sunny. Don't know which is worse! Lolol..
When you go back south do you have any intentions of going near Fukushima? That place is so spooky it would be a hell of a story to tell.
