That's the first thing I noticed. What a shame! On a side note, I hate when the lower front bumper cover is painted body color. I like the contrast like seen in the rear.
Not sure if it would be the same case here, but a buddy inexplicably had his US destined Taycan delivered with an installed European front license/number plate bracket. After some back and forth with the dealer they paid to have a replacement front bumper sprayed and installed, as it looked much like this.
This car was shipped over from Germany and had the Euro plate holes

SUUUUPER LOVED this review. I hear ya on the ST moniker, but getting into Porsches fairly recently (starting with 996 GT3) I dont mind them calling it the ST. Can’t wait for mine to arrive ❤

Congrats on that unobtanium. My dealer told me $150k over minimum and I wouldn’t even be anywhere near the top of the list, despite having bought 3 cars new from them in the last 3 years (Carrera T, Taycan 4S, and Audi RS3). People who are getting slots here basically are the same people who have 918’s and Carrera GT’s in their garage/warehouse. So you’re in some very high company, especially since all you’ve bought is a used 20+ year old car.

I have a great Porsche collection, which includes three 992 911s...a GT3 (manual), GT3 RS, and GT3 Cup. I also own a GT4 RS and a Macan S. I obviously love the brand!

I know where this fits, in my garage next to my Ducatis. I even like the color.
I'm praying for the sake of all the engineering and thought that went into this special car that it is truly appreciated for what it is.And the fortunate owner actually drives the darn thing. What a shame to store this away.... Any Porsche as far as I'm concerned. Life is short enjoy it while you can!

You made interesting comment that the GT3 is too much of a track focused car vs road car. In the 991.2 series - which do you feel is the best road / driver car in the line up?
The 991.2 gt3 doesn't have the twitchy front end. Easily the best drivers car of that platform, and arguably the 992 (st excluded). Why Chis Harris got rid of his 992 touring and stuck with the 991.2.

The ST is my favorite Porsche of the last two decades, but unless you're an exec at T-Mobile, that color is yuck! (just my opinion and yes, I know it'll appreciate better than a "common" color)

For 150k - 175k more than a touring ? Not worth it … unless you’re just flipping it. My 2 cents anyway
The purest will love it just like the touring, but to gain the new young kids, keep makeing more like the 992 GT3/ GT3RS.
I'm sure there are posters all over the world in bedrooms with dreams of the future, very few of them will be the Touring or ST's!
