- After cycling over 1000 miles on my Giant Fathom E3 i give my opinion on the bike and what extras, changes and issues i have had with the bike.
Have only managed to fall off the bike twice at low speed without any major injuries and no damage to the bike. My main issue is the speed limiter and chain slippage which i have solved. I can't believe i have done that much mileage in such a short time, shows that i am enjoying the bike.
Very useful info. I have just bought 1 of these bikes off ebay, bit risky but was 1800 with a 400wh battery and a 500wh battery. Please can i ask what is your battery health on? I downloaded the giant app that shows you the odo and battery health. The bike has done 370 miles but battery says 8 charge cycles and 93% health. 93 seemed a bit low for 8 charge cycles.
Glad the info was of some use, i will do a better video now that i have done over 2000km on the bike with more detail on wear and tear. I have charged the battery 49 times in 7 months but i don't know what % it is on as i do not have the app. The reason for this is that i read online that the app is not accurate so i didn't bother with it, sorry. You should be able to recharge it up to 1000 times according to the manufacturer.
