Moved here 3+ yrs ago. Many, many letters but no visits. I stopped paying in 2015. They will never see another penny.

Get a steady cam, and donlt cut out the interesting bits, you literally showed all the boring bits where you're walking around and it's all over the place...then you jump from being on the plate to on a train with zero commentary...you're not good at this are you?

So, some corrupt corporation decides to broadcast a signal from somewhere and then expects anyone who happens to tune into it, to pay them money, sounds barmy when you think about it.🤣 does this mean if some busker on the street plays a few tunes on his guitar and people stand and listen to it, then that makes them liable to pay a fee?

Been living in my house, 41 years and I have never had a TV licence, no I don’t watch TV so I do not require. I’ve never had any problems, but I do get these letters all the same and I don’t reply to them.

I am now have 36 letters in my collection. I am hoping that in the future that collector's will pay me for my unopened letters. I have had 2 letters this month a new record. BTW they say they will pay me a visit on the 17 July. Last time I had one of these visit letters I stayed in for them and they never turned up , not even a apology. I was mad to say the least. Do you think i should claim compensation for not keeping an appointment as per other service companies.

I've just received threatogramme letter no 25. They used to be once a month but now coming more frequently. This can't be a cost effective system and must be costing the BBC millions.

iv heard if they bother more than twice that's harassment, so iv heard.. then any more than that its stalking,intimidation, harassment and bullying... and just to add im not anti BBC nor anti anything.. but i think people deserve to have a choice.. and no company should be allowed LEGALLY to shove their product down folks throats and charge them for it.. that's like Burger King forcing you to pay a yearly fee for burgers you don't want and don't eat... and the intimidation is awful !!!

Strange visit this morning 26th June, Letter stated 27th June if I was in, Anyway, knock at the door ask me if I lived there I said yes, said he was from TV licence and did I have a licence I replied not interested and said I don't watch live TV, he replied well that's all you had to say , then asked do I watch TV and again told him not live TV, he said ok, here is my ID, do you mind if I come in and check it will only take two minutes, I replied no, he again said its only two minutes, again I said no. He said ok and left. Don't think there is anything in that for a search warrant. But be careful, they are sneaky bastards...

They employ the same tactics as the scummy debt collectors. It's shameful. I watch far too much TV without going near the BBC. I do believe the BBC has it's good points. The news is factually scrupulously unbiased. If you don't agree, that is only an indication of you're own leanings. Everything they report is verified to the point of tedium. A bastion of bureaucratic fact checking. I admit the subjects they choose to report on or not are biased as hell and you can see the prejudice of the various editors by the subjects they choose, but never the facts.

Imagine if Netflix started sending threatening letters every month to every household that choses not to Subscribe to Netflix, and they sent goons to your door asking to come into your property to check that you've not been illegally downloading Netflix shows. That would be absolutely insane. Yet thats exactly what the BBC does. They're so desperate and pathetic. They know that broadcast TV is an outdated thing of the past and they're scared

Letters like that should be made illegal as they are only telling you one thing and not the entire truth with a tone of threats to get you to pay for something you don't need. I wonder if anyone has tried to sue them.

I have Sky etc all the usual stuff on my tv….so if I stop paying my license am I in trouble….all the stuff on CZcams seems to be about people who are legally ok but still get threats….or are people just cancelling the license and still watching normal tv?…PS I hate the bbc and refuse to watch any of their woak shite

They visit 5000 a day ??!! Plenty of people, it seems, out there not paying the t.v. tax ( the new arrivals to our country certainly won't be). I've been license free for a year-and-a-half now. Probably never going back to paying.
