It might more likely couse something much more short term. To people who end up doing both smoking and vaping
I've cold turkey quit weed 5 days in now and I'm honestly fine. But I know for a fact that I WANT to relapse at some point because I really do enjoy the effects of cannabis when I have low tolerance. I know I want to come back after New Year, but I know that when I do, I'll have to be disciplined about frequency of use. Do you have advise for someone who WANTS to come back but doesn't want to lose control again? My plan is to make it impossible to develop tolerance by spacing out uses.
@@Blvcjacgo like 4 months without and when you come back don't go head first into dabbing or a cart user. Mix it up with flower, edibles, and other products. Try n keep the stronger stuff for bedtime. Anytime I feel a daily use is getting too often. Take an extended break at least 3 months. Work on yourself to self improve and when u come back you won't feel so guilty and you'll find that mental hold isn't there but you can develop that again but just recognize it and don't let it. You may smoke find it's not as big of a deal as you thought after coming back too. Really shouldn't ever be in a situation where your scared to go a month without bud on the fly otherwise you may have an issue you have reservations and that's totally cool to start again if you feel it's not going to impact your day to day. Some people need it daily though like a bad ptsd victim or epileptic and thats cool too. Coach Franky ain't going to give u advice on moderation but plenty of other channels do. Cewpins has got a good vid on how he doesn't believe in T breaks and feels you can moderate your habits better through some of his methods maybe worth a watch on how to do that. If it's a money thing though don't go wasting your savings on weed make sure your financially sound to smoke first, bills n food come first. Though hardly the case when get an ounce of live resin wax for 150 and if not a big smoker could make that last the year lol. Delta 8 and the alt noids are great to throw in to so to not feel trashed if it's a too fucked up on weed to do shit thing, try diet weed. Also micro dosing done wonders for craving and heroic doses to change my mental landscape that was need to stop other habits. I find when micro dosing I actually smoke less but you figure you. It may be a good idea smoke a month but promise not the following see if you follow through if you struggle maybe just stop for good. May just have to addictive of a personality and sometimes that call for just straight sober. There is no stigma on weed just the people who make it their everything.
I understand nicotine addiction(i have that). Also understand booze. But porn and energy drinks? Energy drinks are where most young people get vitamins. But i've recently met a dude who had an energydrink addiction. Dude had a heart attack. But porn? Do they stay at home a j their d's instead of living or is it done in public? This channel is teaching me loads but some of it sounds funny
@@wjk2674 I am recovering from porn addiction. 19 years old now started at 7 with my parents cell phones and home computers. I would search up pretty women and JO but was unaware that one could finish (ejaculate). One day when I was 11, I finally ejaculated and was immediately addicted. I'd repeat the same thing every day. By the age of 13 I would hang out with friends from school and get invited to their homes for activities.. and most of the time if it was a girls house, I'd find myself sneaking a pair of her dirty underwear into my pocket to take home with me. I'd hold them against my nose until I finished. I could never explain how sick that makes me feel looking back on it. By the time I was 15 I was absolutely incapable of maintaining composure when talking to pretty girls, would make vulgar remarks to them, fantasize all kinds of things. Porn completely ruined my perception of women, sex, and ultimately love. There wasn't a single female that I wouldn't objectify in my mind. At 16, I entered my first real relationship and she meant everything to me, but I lost her because she knew about my issue. I was STILL taking her underwear, wanting sex too often, and just being an absolute pervert. At 16, I had my first acid trip and quit my sick habit as well as the drinking habit I had at that time. I left porn for a while and dropped alcohol. Came back to porn soon after, and fell back into the same cycle but this time with more discipline. Ultimately, I'm single and haven't had sex since November 2022. I don't see myself looking for a relationship for a long time. I know I have to heal and I'm not okay yet. My mind is STILL in the gutter. I'm overly stimulated by hot women and catch myself having intrusive thoughts about girls that look like they may very well be underaged. Today, I watch porn about twice a week and it sickens me. I want to stop but it's a trap. You're human brain will always ALWAYS want more and fantasize about more. Porn addiction is very real and I'm currently trying to climb out of it. I quit weed 8 days ago and been running 5K every day, working out, eating healthy. Ironically, the less I use weed, the less I use porn. Being high makes so much space for porn consumption. The truth is I don't know if I'll ever quit. But I want to so bad and I see the damage it does. I'm 8 days clean of weed and 2 days clean of porn pray for me and hope I get better please. I'm 19 years old, handsome, 6'1 165lbs fit body.. no reason I shouldn't have success with women. I just have to be better.
I’ve quit pills Cocaine nicotine and vaping and will say with complete honesty that weed is the hardest one to stop
9weeks off weed... been passing massive tests later.. what really gets me thru it is visualizing my life 2-3 years without it.. without that vision id relapse right away good luck everyone
School tests or what kind?
Congratulations!
Clean shirt pimp
Well done, keep going 💪
I pray you’re going steady fam.
No weed, no booze. Feeling great. Big up all beautiful people in this feed. Non negotiable!!! 💯
After 38 years of consuming hash and weed I've had to admit to myself at almost 60 that I haven't had the life that I could have had without those substances. This is particularly true regarding relationships and work. I am alone and unemployed despite having everything in my favour as a young man.
I feel like writing a comment because of the passion in your voice as you speak to help people like me.
I've been free of the aforementioned for about 5 weeks now and I'm feeling very determined to continue despite feeling constantly tired and finding it difficult to get down to getting things done.
Quitting just sort of happened by the way. It wasn't a plan,
Thankyou very much for your support.
Thank you for posting this I've only been about half that time at around 15 years and am very inspired by your story, because I feel I still have time in my late twenties . Best of luck to both of us for quitting and never going. Can.
Do something to reward yourself for giving up. New haircut. New shirt
Wow thankyou got your message
I'm right there with you. I'm 54 and have smoked weed for at least 30 of those years. I, too, wonder what/how I'd have turned out w/o that influence in my life...
Sad to say, but that ship has flown. I am taking the next flight... and hope to reach FIRST CLASS ASAP.
STAY STRONG!
9 months baby 🎉
Proud of you❤
Thank you always for posting! I am on day 5 and I can't stop crying and literally EVRYTHINGGGG makes me mad and irritable. Whenever I am in that moment and want to go to the dispensary I come straight to your channel and flood my mind with them. You are a Godsend. Thank you always!!
If it may help, im on day 16 or 17 and i also cried alot the first days and felt so miserable. But after a day or 10 you will feel MUCH better!
Life will only get better and your mind will become stronger and more clear minded as each day goes on !! The biggest thing that helped me was identify ALL of my triggers that would give me the urge to want to get high. And once I was able to face it head on and solve all the stresses from little inconvenience to life struggles, I was so much happier with myself and treated everyone around me better including the people that loved me. Do this for yourself and life will reward you !!
I’m on day 23… we can do this 🫶🏽🙌🏾
Day 21 and although its hard but stick to your guns. I just got my appetite back and my severe sweating has subsided. I still have cravings but I just hop on You tube and watch one of these videos. You got this!!!
Day 5 here. Made a promise to my wife that I would get clean, relapsed and had to deal with the exact embarrassment he’s talking about in this video. Very glad I found this channel.
Thanks bro, you got me through today, just what I needed to hear. 15 days now.
Love from England/London. Stay strong yall, we got this.
I'm 3 days...
@@DavidCarmonaUXme too bro 3 days today, it’s not easy but we will get there
How did it go mate
today marks day 24 nicotine free from vaping, glory to God. I feel amazing.
Hell yeah man I'm just a lil over a day nic free
you've got this in the bag brother, in Jesus name@@lim-lz6kx
Smoking my last one right now. I start the Bar Course in 1 week. I've relapsed 3 times. But this is it! My life depends on it and I am putting that much pressure on myself. I can beat this! 🙏🏼
Today is my last day smoking weed. I’ve spent the last 2 weeks watching as many videos of yours as I can to come up with a plan and mentally prepare for all withdrawal symptoms. I’ve said this many times before but this will be it. I’m excited to unlock my potential, for the first time in my life. It will be a journey to detox after smoking for 16+ years, but I can’t wait to be myself again.
Best of luck brother. ✌️
@@shaikabdulkareem447 Thank you!!!
Keep going 💪
Hope it's going well bro. Same here. Just decided today is the last day.

Thanks Dr Frank. Day 336 of quitting smoking nicotine., cold turkey quit. Day 336 of quitting alcohol. Day 90 of quitting sugar, carbs, gluten, seed oils. 45 pound weight loss. I learned the power of my own mindset from you. I will always be grateful.
90 days off weed now alcohol is next gotta build a mindset
I'm 5 months in and I'm really craving. I just want to remember why I stopped
I just complete my first day off weed let’s goooo!!!
I've been off weed for a little over a month. At first I gave myself 2 stickers in my planner each day that I didn't use weed and that was very helpful for the first 30 days. But I stopped keeping track of the days bc Jack Trimpy is right, there's no point counting the days if I'm never going back to the substance.
I love this! It’s a lifestyle change forever.
I swear you really are a God send like Dominique said, i needed this video now seen that i was battling the urge to smoke after eating, i am on day 1 of stopping after taking 1 week to gradually go from 9 Joints a day to 1 and from today 0, thank you for your job!
Day 2 for me stay strong 💪
It’s my 3 day weed free, thanks for your content
3 days in! This is the longest time I've stopped since January.
Day one! I’m really excited that I woke up with no urges today. Before I sleep and first thing when I wake up is your videos. Just to intercept my own head. Is this my first time quitting? No that’s easy, I’ve done it 100x. This is the first time I’m quitting for life. I’m done touching this stuff. I want new. I want better and I want to be better for the new. Wish me luck, wishing you all the same ❤️🎉
Good luck man, how you getting on?
You’ve quit many times so you know how the timeline of withdrawal works. Good that you’ve made up your mind that you don’t at all want it in life. It’s all about mind. Train your mind right and you can do it! All the positive energy to you.
Yes, they are lies from the pits of hell when you start negotiating with the addicted voice. 30 days sober!
That’s right a lie from the pit of hell. Keep going that’s great!
Can I just say you have been killing it with these uploads!
Very long videos and you’re constantly uploading
Thank you so much for your recent quitting series it’s been SO helpful!
I tested negative for the frist time today after quitting 4 weeks ago. The reason i quit was because it got boring and I applied for a training program on a ship that gives me the nessecary qualifications and sertifications wich will allow me to work on a ship and start a maritime carrear, wich has always been my dream.
They required two negative test before I canget in, and I just wanna say thank you for motivating me and changing my view on weed! Without binging your videos for the first week, Im not sure I would be able to get therough my withdrals.
I've been smoking several times a day for about 2 years, but because I have only 5% bodyfat and sky-high metabolism, I got it out of my system really quick. After I quit I started walking atleast 15.000 steps a day, burning 500 calories through activity, just to maximise my chances of getting clean in the shortest time possible. I guess I burned off all the THC-infested fat off my body pretty fast. I was told by my doctor that it might take up to 10 weeks before I got clean, but thank frick it didnt take that long!
Hey congrats! Career progression is the same reason I am quitting! I feel so much more energetic and happy since quitting as I'm sure you do too!
I wish people who were in recovery knew more about the straight edge community and made that their personality. There have been countless times now where the fear of losing that status because of drug use has steered me away from going back to substances. It probably won’t work for everyone but I think the fact that it’s a whole community of people against any form of drug use has really helped me stay sober.
None negotiable 😤 is actually the mindset that i needed, to finally never slip up again!!
✌️
18 days without weed. I am stoked about my future. I got plans and I am slowly but surely chipping at them.
Today's day two no pot , I feel I got through the worst day hopefully, now just got to stay on the path , stay strong and vigilant, wish the same for anyone else going through it 🙏
Good points about the damage to self-esteem and the futility of trying to reason with the irrational. I'm 6 months into sobriety from weed, and I feel a little vulnerable to relapse right now. I've been having thoughts of using ("just a little"). My typical pattern was to go on long weed + alcohol binges once every 3 to 6 months. That's why the temptation is coming up now, I think. And it's why I'm revisiting your channel. This video was very helpful. Thank you again for all your work.
dude i love you when ever i get real bad cravings i watch one of your videos and it helps ,love you ,10th day nicotine free
This video helping a lot. I did quit nicotine using your videos and 7 steps and it lasted for 4 months and relapsed- I am back again finding the mistake I made and this time there is no going back . Thanks a lot for making the videos again- Helping us a lot and you are making a huge difference in people life ❤
7th day on my sobriety from cannabis, 3 days from food addiction, and today is day 0 from alcohol and nicotine. I’m filling up my time with active healing from childhood trauma, working on my paused business due to traumatic circumstances from family scapegoating caused by jealous, vindictive and emotionally arrested siblings, sorting out my finances and following routines as best as I can. It’s a very hard and uphill battle right now but if I was able beat the harder party drugs years ago, then I can do this with these tiny little demons. I look forward to being myself again.
23 days now. I’m looking forward to a sober future.
I like your clarity !❤
Big fan of your content. Useful advice.
Hey Doc, day 5 no weed after 22 years everyday!!! You are truly special and have helped change my life!
First week is tough! Then after 10 days it gets better and after exactly 2 weeks you fell much better and have the confidence to abstain from it totally!
Stay strong. Whatever happens, build a mindset about how weed affects you in every way. Write down bad points of weed that helps make up your mind coz you’ll need a strong mind which thinks against weed.
All the positive energy to you!
So much wisedom man. So glad I was able to stumble across this video
You helped a lot, thanks ❤
Thank you for these wonderful videos
Thanks for your videos and time.
So good🙏🏽 thank you, thank God for you!
Appreciate you man
This is really great stuff! I struggle a lot!
Thank you Dr. FRANK❤
i found this helpful - the non-negotiable aspect, thank you.
Your message is so empowering. We are not broken or powerless, we are not doomed to a life of addiction and institutionalization and death (AA tells us this). We don't need to waste our lives in church basements reliving our worst moments (I know this helps people I'm not against it - but not how I wanna spend my time)...we have power to change every day and say no to funding our demise. I have heard a lot of recovery stuff in my life and found your channel by randomly searching why weed is not considered addictive (because a guy I have been in contact with refuses to see how negatively it's affected his life). As someone struggling with multiple addictions, trauma and family history of substance and mental illness, listening to these videos is helping me more than many other modalities ever have. I am trying to focus on my terrible shopping addiction right now. Almost 13 months sober off booze and weed. Realizing how much time is wasted that we can never get back..it's sobering.
Thanks bro.
perfect timing
You are an absolute gem DR! just know you help so many people with your knowledge and wisdom.
Man. My head hurts 🤦♂️
On day 5. For some reason the insomnia hit like a train last night.
I’ve quit numerous times. I know I can push through the withdrawal phase, it’s the long run that gets me. Thanks for pointing out the flaw with the one day at a time philosophy. If you screw up, just refocus and get back after it. A system of getting credit for each day only reinforces the “you messed up, ruined everything” which is not good for someone dealing with addiction.
Your channel has been a huge help to me. I have relapsed at least 5times since I quit ‘for good’ I cannot continue on that path anymore and my life has improved and all the time I go back I’m just ruining the progress I am making. From today I am actually quitting for good.
This is a great video and it's much more like the content I came to this channel for in the first place because it's addiction advice that isn't only aimed at people who are addicted to weed. I'm not addicted to weed and have never even tried weed once so a lot of the recent videos on this channel have been irrelevant to me as they focus on weed addiction. Personally I'm addicted to nicotine and this video is great because it focuses on more than just weed addiction.
THC is definitely the hardest for me.😢
Thank you for all your videos, you are amazing and your videos are helping me a lot to stop smoking, thank you 😊
Thank you for supporting the channel!
Guys this is my 3rd month off nicotine and weed and it is already easy peasy. Stick to your decision no matter what and soon enough the struggle *of quitting and craving will end
"Rational Recovery" was the single most important thing I did to help me get sober. Reading that book was a massive 'ah ha'. Every attempt to quit up until then never worked. Can't recommend this book enough.
Chewed about 250 pieces of nicotine gum which helped me quit! On month 6!, seriously struggling with the withdrawal symptoms from weed, nausea, intense stomach issues, and the flu like shivers and chills, one of the things keeping me from putting it down is going through these few weeks of hell
I have 29years sober from alcohol but WEED has kicked my ASS. I have only been smoking for about 2 years regularly and "trying" to quit for the past year. Thank you for all of your videos. They help immensely. You call a spade a spade. No BS and that's what is needed.
Keep saying to myself a won’t is not a need ❤thank you dr frank
I’m on day 3 ❤
Back on this channel again as I begin my third, and hopefully final, full on attempt at stopping smoking tobacco.
Non negotiable!😎
u really are helping me dude :D i was having a bad mood just now because of the weed withdrawal. but they go away because i was watching ur videos xd
I’m excited to rebuild my life
You are a blessing from God.
I’m glad I listened to further because I was gonna stop when you were saying screw one day at a time I haven’t had a drink in 10 years my veins had burst and I could no longer walk because I drank so much alcohol and my liver was so black blocked up the veins versus and all I could do is think one minute at a time one hour at a time And that is very helpful and very necessary. I think in the beginning I don’t go to meetings either. I’ve only been to a few they’re not for me and the problem was saying never again, especially in the beginning is that you gotta try and try and try until you get it, and you don’t want to be painting yourself as a failure every time you don’t live up to the promise you may to yourself took a long time to start drinking the way I did, and the only reason it stopped so suddenly for me is because I was put into a coma for a month. Thank God for that coma I would never stop otherwise, but I admire the people that can go one minute at a time sometimes that’s all you get.
You just have to decide and be intentional about it.
Can you please make a video about the fear of running out of weed thank you.✌🤙
A lot of his videos talk about this. I suggest going through all the videos on his channel. Even if it ends up being repeat information. It’s all helpful and good to have reminders.
lol, been there a few times, it's nerve racking to say the least.
Day 4 ❤
23 days today ❤
Qutting smoking vs quitting vaping. Could depend on what the person likes more. Or how long they have been smoking or vaping or how much nicotine is in the vape
After relapsing today i needed to hear this. It wasn't even worth it.
Damn dude, spot on with the relapse crock of bs
One day at a time is outdated. You're right. And easy does too.
Can the cauncil do anything if they make a onle report the someone. Smokes in the house or if they add photo evidence from Facebook in the report?
Dont be a snitch
I just quit 10 mins ago lets see how it goes
There really is only one way to truly defeat addiction and that's the divine, God, the universe, source whatever your name for the allmighty is ask for help because that's what really helps us addicts the most. Take it from a old addict who had to face his addictions many times in my life!
🔥
You are an angel please god keep this man happy and healthy he’s done so much for me 🙏
I hear everything you’re saying. But….. it’s a sunny day 🤷♂️ what can be done?
Im at the 28 day mark with nicotine after 17 years. It actually wasn't that difficult after the first few days, I didn't crave it even when others smoked around me. If would have I relapsed, that means I'm weak, and I'm not, my future is more important.
I have relapsed today after 8 days quitting smoking. What should i do? I feel hopeless
Pick yourself up and try again. Give me the Herb you have on hand and I'll dispose of it for you.
Hey doc just wanted to say I’ve just started college and I’m on day 2 and I’m really serious about quitting this time because I just feel stupid. But I’m losing a lot of weight… any tips?
Continue to lose it then in 2 weeks start some calisthenics, the first time i stopped smoking i did like this and in 6 months i was in my best shape ever, then i relapsed after a fight with a neighbour... Take my story with you and don't forget it, don't relapse if you fight someone and just keep it up you are losing water and a little bit of fat and muscle it's the perfect time to build a real G Body.
@@chafikthewarrior thanks man we are all on this together the problem with me is that I have a very fast metabolism the only reason I used to smoke was to give myself the munchies and try to bulk. I didn’t even need it to begin with but losing weight is the worst symptom for me cuz I’m already skinny.
shit bro i am a slow metabolism lol i gave you the opposite advice, in reality you need to microeat MINIMUM 5 times a day forcefully, like 2 apples 2 eggs with chicken and some Pasta with meat balls at the end of the day, try Microeating multiple times a day, in all cases that's what you need to do with fast metabolism.@@predslayz1211
Apples with peanut butter and raisins. Works for me and you’ll get protein and energy 🫶🏽

I just don't understand how you would be upset with yourself for ordering a drink with dinner when you said you don't have an addiction to alcohol. It makes me start thinking like, is your wife just telling you she doesn't want you to or something?
According to you, what really works is finding the love of you life and having a baby. That just doesn't work out for a lot of us. And it doesn't help anyone.
He never said that in reference for everyone, this what helped him. ✌🏻
i liked your video, but.. are you a doctor?
Sacred secretion. Get rid of the need to abuse yourself. You're welcome.
Alcoholism is different than weed addiction or ordering a $20 martini. (La dee) Please don’t speak on alcoholism if you’re not an alcoholic.
You are so wise
Nobody talks about how your heart rate and blood pressure go up after quitting. my heart rate is gone up 20 bpm. I’m not sure what my blood pressure is but I used to be 58 to 60 bpm now I’m at 80. It’s been a month since I quit.
Couldn’t even get through the first three days. I don’t know what to do
What were you doing to try and get past it?
Sleep helped me
That is/was my problem with quitting. Everything is so damn slow and boring, everything! Asking Jesus for the willpower to stay off of it indeed helps.
