I can absolutely get behind this. Another creature that can potentially be part of this is Reptisaurus, the monster who was semi-spun-off from Reptilicus. The comics lapsed into the public domain a while ago, so he's fair game.
I've had my hand in adapting reptilcus but it was when I wasn't that good at animating here on CZcams. I still say improvement over that movie. Funny enough I got better when I made my own copyright friendly king Kong just call Kong (like monsterverse plus donkey Kong court case). And he lives on skull island atoll a pocket dimension world that opens ounce every so often vague I know but it's so I don't have limits. Another public domain monster redosaurus adapted him as well
Max Fleischer Studios created an upright 4 fingered finned spine called: The Artic Giant. This was a superman cartoon which was made 12 years before Gojira came out...
Even King Kong isn't my favorite kaiju but since King Kong in public domain, maybe anyone can make fan films of him or maybe create their own ape kaiju
Great video and I'm glad I'm not the only one with this thought before. Now then, time to start creating my own Gigantis incarnation since "The Gigantis Mythos" might be a thing, this one will be done with a late Heisei/Millenium era bent to it. Will send my Gigantis over to you when it's ready.
This video leaves me with a small question. The thing is Gamera, the invincible, a.k.a., the Americanized version of the original Gamera film is actually in the public domain, so would that mean technically you could make your own camera works with your own design based off what’s in the Americanized version or is it a bit more complicated. As a matter fact, I’m not quite sure if it even is public domain so I’m a little confused on that
This kind of makes me want to make my own gigantis story now I will probably also be making a Superman / Ultraman type characters well (P.s. supposedly Superman is going to be entering the public domain but it is specifically his original appearance variation so it is extremely restricted as to what you can do without performing copyright infringement so while it's not impossible to use the character and there are ways to work around certain things so the points where I would rather just make up my own character that is similar but I can still do whatever I want with it P.p.s. gigantis and this Superman like character I'd make both would be sharing a similar origin having came from a similar planet and would even have a select few specific shared capabilities with this new Superman character having more stable capabilities and gigantis having more unstable but far more powerful versions of the same abilities just use than a different way.
I have heard about, Superman entering the public dominion. In that case you’d have to follow the original powers and appearance to not get on dc’s bad side. As for powers it does mean superman can’t fly cause at that point superman could only leap really high.
@@Zimzilla99 I believe I mentioned that It made me want to add some of my own abilities to the character but at that point I might as well just making original one instead of adding to an existing one

Already have kong ill do a Gigantis too though i don't wanna make it feel forced.
Of course but like I said, Gigantis doesn’t have a set design and continuing to evolve as an artist is what this work is good for
