After using Chrome for practically everything. I've deviced to make a full switch over to Brave, far more reliable, and i don't get those annoying pop ups from CZcams telling me to disable my adblocker.

I just searched coffee makers on Brave just to see and the first thing that pops up is sponsered ads.
A great thing about Brave is that it has a background play feature for mobile

I use Yandex browser, has that too and as far as i noticed only browser i installed that uses 120hz for scrolling

Besides the ad tracker blocking that brave does, I can watch CZcams without ads in the brave browser in the background with multiple windows open or closed if I want

Is there a way to cast videos on to android tvs via chromecast through Brave browser?
I haven't updated Brave for years since I first moved to Brave. When I switched on to update for my mac desktop it sent me a new brave installation rather than an update. If I install new installation, will it know to keep my existing passwords etc in Brave?
Probably, but to be safe, go to settings and find your saved passwords and write them down manually (pen, notes app wherever). Or at least your important passwords

brave ad block doesnt work now for me even though its enable and aggressive. it sucks.
i used chrome but i had way too many issues with chrome so i made the move to brave and its much better. had to switch because when my chrome messes up my laptop i have to switch it off the wrong way and power it back on. so after annoying ads and annoying restarting my laptop alot. i have decided today to make the move and it is way much better than chrome
I had to reset my computer and now when I go back to brave I dont have my old version so i cant get my brave rewards info - do i have to use the seed phrase to get back there.
The only thing I hate about Brave other that there is no extension store for it like Edge, Firefox, Opera, or Chrome, the other thing I hate about Brave is that there's no Brave account and you just get a sync code to save your Brave data to other devices. I still love it though.
Chrome Web Store works with Brave. Go there and try to install an extension as if you were on Chrome.
So do the chrome tracker blocker extensions just not work or is the concern that its bloaty?? I thought i was good other than maybe my chromes browsing history.

It's 2024. I only just now installed Brave. During setup i was asked if i wanted to Import all my extensions, etc. from chrome....i said yes. Brave, however, only imported 7 of the 16 extensions i use in chrome. What's up with that ya think?thanks

Yes, but Brave can't render very good. This is the only downside for me. But since edge has added so many features I don't want to miss, I now use edge
edge also track you a lot because it's microsoft apps, i use brave a lot but now i'm using ungoogled chromium.

Edge is better than Google Chrome performance wise now imo but there's a huge dealbreaker for me with edge - bloat. Edge has got to be the most bloated mess of a browser I have seen in a decade. I use Firefox and Brave in case Firefox actually dies.
@@HikingFeral Я думаю движок файерфокса обречён на медленную смерть, ибо все сайты на 99 - процентов написаны и оптимизированы под chromium, если сравнивать быстродействие браузера файерфокс, то он на последнем месте, плюс иногда бывают баги и глюки на сайтах, иногда даже зависает, в то же время браузер с движком хром просто летит.

At this point I've decided to sign-out all of my socials from Chrome/AVG Secure Browser & stick to using Brave. I've used Brave for over a year now & I'm already finding much more reliability when using it. Have imported all my important bookmarks from Chrome to Brave, it even has it's own ad blocker aka "Brave Shields", & it's actually becoming a lot more faster than I expected. Only reason to use Brave is because Chrome is fucking garbage!!

Brave отличный браузер, если честно на рынке нет аналогов по защите данных и конфиденциальности пользователя. У Brave есть защита от скрытых трекеров, есть встроенный механизм блокировки рекламы, плюс есть возможность добавить свои собственные фильтры. Есть защита от языковых утечек, защита браузера от снятия отпечатки браузера. Единственное что меня напрягает в браузере Brave - это крипто кошельки и и ленты новостей, но их можно отключить. Также есть защита каждой открытой вкладки изоляции друг от друга, так называемый "Эфемерная хранилище" такой защиты нету ни в одной из существующих браузеров на данное время, ни в Edge, ни файерфокс такого нету.
Yeah, But also no auto fill and adds ads in new tabs and the ad blocker built in is super weak, Stick with Firefox for now.

I have stopped using Brave until they remove the AI bullshit. Went to Duck Duck go. If things keep up I will create my own browser.

Brave masks your location. If you look carefully, Brave slightly changes your location to somewhere within a few miles.

@@norman24 I would if you want better results. Sucks cause you will lose a little privacy. If anything Bing would be more privacy oriented than Google. And Bing is good I tried the new edge totally different browser now. It’s just as good if not better than Google
When it first came out it was horrendous but as time came on adding features like calculator, weather, ai and local search results its pretty decent

I used to, until I lost all my passwords and secondary keys (which are not recoverable by any means or methods whatsoever, something 1Password is very proud of); will not recommend.
Brave doesn't use stock chromium, it uses a fork of Chromium called Moun.

@@bkoldies Both Brave and Vivaldi are not supported by any 3rd party Security Software that I know of.
Brave browser is bad now. Whenever you restart ur laptop or exit brave, u get logged out of all of ur Google accounts in brave browser. And nowhere in Google gives a viable solution.
Sounds like you probably have "clear cookies on exit" enabled or something. Doesn't happen to others.
I knew and heard abt it, and yes it's disabled. Still got logged out anyways

Doesn’t happen to me, I think a setting may be turned on. All my accounts are always ready to go on Brave.
