If your watch do not already have all this features I would recommend you to buy a Garmin watch instead. That would be a cheeper option compare to buy both a watch and a ring.

our watches already do all this, it would be great if it could add something new like our hydration and salt levels.
I agree, the good watches like Coros and Garmin (just to mention a few) give the same or similar data at the moment. But the Ring Air is under constant development and some new interesting features are on the way… don’t know the exact details but it will probably be announced pretty soon.
Compared to my Coros Apex2 Pro I believe it’s more accurate regarding the sleep tracking and gives more input. So, I use them both.
How long dies the battery last?
Hi 👋🏻, the battery is good for about 6-7 days. But it reminds you to charge at 30% so you might charge it like every 5 days or something.

Thanks 🙂 and yes, I wasn’t sure if this ring would be of interest to my audience but I really wanted to try it out and see if it could be of any use… tech reviews and gadgets are not my cup of tea… but still, they might turn up once in a while 😄
I would suggest this gizmo is largely irrelevant for many hikers, and a potential source of even greater anxiety for those already obsessed with the state of their bodily functions. The notion of having this nagging nanny on my finger while I'm simply trying to enjoy the uncomplicated natural outdoors strikes me as a bad joke.
Important lesson - just because technology makes something possible, it doesn't necessarily make it a good idea!
Undeniably, there will be some individuals who can't resist this kind of toy, just like some people like train spotting, or Morris dancing, or incest...
It's a broad church, each to their own, etc etc, but I am a little surprised to see you marketing this contraption Robert!
Each to their own like you say. I see nothing wrong with these type of gadgets and gives you exactly the type of information many smart watches like Apple Watch and my Coros Apex does, just in a smaller package.
I believe it’s amazing how they can make such a small device with all this technology and I was curious how good it was and if it could help me in any way, both in my everyday life and potentially on my hikes.
How to use the numbers and information you get or if it’s a good tool for hiking I leave up to the audience to decide. But it’s a cool gadget I wanted to try and to share on my channel, nothing wrong trying to keep up with technology.
Some bring tech some don’t, neither is wrong and better than the other. Stay safe and happy trails.
