- Devil’s Den State Park, nestled in Lee Creek Valley of the northwest Arkansas Ozarks, was selected as a state park site in the 1930s. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) used native materials to build the park’s rustic-style wood and stone structures that mirror the surrounding natural beauty.
The park now stands as one of the most intact CCC sites in the U.S., with a legacy you can see in its trails and buildings like its original cabins.
Join Park Interpreter Mystina Swaim for a virtual guided hike on the CCC Interpretive Trail to discover more about the park’s stories and structures. Then, consider planning your trip to the park to spend the night in a CCC cabin, camp under the stars, or just spend the day - and while here consider the stories the park’s historic structures hold.
Thank you for the information and tour!.......ATB
The name and what happened in the past isn't very attractive, is it! Just kidding...I think is amazing and I would like to visit it but with a SOS phone on me and a GPS CONNECTED via satellite!
