My Yamaha MT09 has been stolen from a "safe neighbourhood"! Police report done. Working on insurance. Feeling violated! This happened near Philadelphia.
I totally feel ya Ken Da. This exactly happened to me 2012, When my Pulsar 200 was stolen. This again almost happened to in Australia where few thugs were trying to yank the handle lock open of my Ninja 1000SX. How ever, I have a security system installed on my Ninja that not only sends alarms to my phone, but also sounds a loud alarm in itself and the cameras starts recording immediately (like the sentry mod in Tesla's). I know even after that motorcycles can be damaged and stolen, but it's a perpetual cat and mouse game. These pathetic abominations would not stop, so, we have to remain ahead of the curve
Im really sorry to hear this. Getting a bike stolen is a really scary thought now that i think about it. I think you should probably put an airtag without a speaker in a hidden location on your r1 to prevent similar occurences.
Shit sorry to hear this dude. I know the feeling, not on the same scale I got like $7,500 worth of filmmaking gear stolen from me. I hope it some how works out for you my friend.

Really sorry, bro. I hope they get you paid back soon so you get get riding again. I imagine your sense of security has been shattered. Have you considered putting a GPS tracker on your next one? Watching this video has made me think about getting one. Please keep us updated.

Thank you for your concern.
I have it chained to the tarmac as of now.
Airtag is a good idea.
unless you find a place to keep a bike out of sight not much you can do but install an alarm system like the ones Harley uses
Thanks mate. I will check with the parts department.
