Worked perfectly! I just used a paper clip and received a 9-3 error number. The chart in the forum link you posted in the description was confusing so I just Googled the 9-3 SRS code and it turns out to be a my driver's side buckle switch. The part (new) costs about $150 to replace which is what I'm going to try and do for my 2005 Honda Civic LX (Special Edition) 2 Door. Can't imagine how much this money this saved me at an autoshop for time and labor. Thanks again!

Thank you 1M! This video + some prayer saved me time & money. With the fuse box in a tight corner and short wires, plus a thick paper clip, it was a difficult task. I almost gave up! Said a prayer and then it worked on my last try! What a relief! What a Godsend! I am very grateful for your video! You did a great job explaining the procedure and by all these positive comments ppl are leaving it's evident you are helping many! Excellent job!!!

@@ZackofAllTradesct - Here it is another year later, and I'm having to do this again! As before, the airbag light will go off/on 2-3x, but it won't turn off the 4th time and stay off. Plus my wires are so short that it's painful to get to. It's not easy to do bc the wires are so short, and I have to adjust the paper clip ends each time I pull it out and it's difficult to keep it that straight and just right so it'll work right quickly. I remember last year when I did this, it took me 12-15x just to get it to work. Slam wore me out then and is doing the same this year! This is so crazy! WHY is it so difficult to get the light to go out the 4th time?!

Many times your 12 volt outlet (cigarette lighter) is on the same circuit as the OBD connector. I'm not positive on the Hondas, but if you don't have power there I would check for a blown fuse and then try again.

2005 Honda Civic EX 9-3 Airbag Light Code. After cleaning my driver side seatbelt switch with an engine ethanol cleaner spray I was having trouble resetting the Airbag light. I used tie wire after a couple failed attempts with the paper clip and Bobby pin. I was unsuccessful using the diagnostic plug in (the plug used for pulling the airbag code as well as engine codes). I finally tried using the yellow airbag plug next to the fuses and it worked on resetting the the light. Again, my Airbag light was on and not my SRS. Just to clarify.

Then it does not repeat but just stays on.
