Great video. I'm new to the world of air tools and literally just learned of these style connections but they seem cool I will likely convert everything (which isn't much) to these if it works. Is there any disadvantage to using this for all my air tools vs using the regular high flow fittings? Do they provide as much flow? Also can I use this on my compressor coupler fitting as well? Lastly would I need a high flow pressure regulator as well on my air compressor for all of this stuff to work optimally?

My V style coupler stuck open at 20% rate, and it is scary. Will this one fix it?

The sealant should be applied closer to the front part so it can actually seal.

We went back and spreaded it evenly across the threads. You can see it at 3:14. Nick was just trying to get the shot done for the video.

Why tape on some threads, and sealer on others...

just a personal preference, they both do the same thing.

It's even better to use Loctite 545 for pneumatic fittings. Teflon tape or paste can release bits of teflon into the inner workings.
