I was honoured to be asked by Moonen to film a walk through video of their new Moonen 110', a brand new model making it's debut appearance at their facility in The Netherlands.
I had already seen the yacht in construction some months before, so was well aware of their superb build practices...but I was not prepared for the touch of magic in the finished vessel! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Probably the most effective presentation of an individual yacht's qualities and outstanding design and engineering features, that I've ever seen.
I think the ending with the staff says it all, and I agree. Par Excellence!!!
If I were a "qualified buyer" this boat would qualify. One of the nicer ones.

Beautiful piece of Dutch craftsmanship and yachting history. I love the minimalistic and NON-Clutter look, this makes the yacht look a lot bigger than 30(ish) meters.
Great video, one test re sound would've been to do test in lower state room.

Such a missed opportunity with this design. Amazed the master bath is only a single sink/vanity. Also, to extend the pilothouse to make a sky lounge type area. The execution is flawless. Materials, textures, colors fabulous. Awesome video quality. Thank you.

This is proper high end workmanship.
Very well done video that told a structured story with on screen deck plans that showed where you are. The vessel is gorgeous. The design is understated elegance; the rich blue of the hull glistens; the bridge reminds me of the simplicity and functionality of the latest iPhone. I like the 3500 nm range and am floored by a consumption of only 60 l/hr. Moonen has excelled!
I dont know what you do, but this is like the best tour of a superyacht that i've ever seen. Maybe it is because of your amazing filming, maybe because of your great explanation and maybe just because everything is so calm and chill in your videos. Please dont stop producing those great videos 🙏

I actually installed a soundcheck app to compare these results.
With open windows and cars passing in the distance which I don't even register anymore, I never got under 35-40 db. When my neighbours turned on the washing machine it went up to around 45-50 and even that doesn't really bother me. So, having around 35 db while the boat is running is nothing but amazing!

She is a wonderful yacht, and the extras like sound and pricing are great to hear. Making Moonen a class above the rest. It sounds like they are most interested in showing quality over everything else. Similar to bespoke tailoring of shoes and suits this yacht will last an owner a lifetime. She is very impressive.

Love your videos. I just wanted to reiterate that I really appreciate you using a map at the beginning and that it's appreciated when you use it for each area. Additionally, being able to show us the decibel level is a treat that I hope would become standard (even if it's in the Yachts For Charter or Yacht Builders channel). Nice to see some recognition given to the cleaning crew. I'm sure they'll be talking about that for ages!

David, you did it again! This tour and demonstration of this vessel's quality and craftmanship is a tour de force. I watched your vlog with the gentleman from Moonen and I was truly impressed. You know I am a full displacement aficionado. This one floored me, even at the price of €17 Million. You could not have explained the benefits of a steel full displacement yacht any better. Kudos to you, your team, and the folks at Moonen for this magnificent vessel. 👏👍🏼😎

WOW David, SO GOOD!!! I've always wanted an Azimut Tri-Deck from the moment I saw one, but this yacht is incredible (even though it's only 100fter), with so many great features!!! I'm stunned! It's a shame, because now I don't know which one to pick. I have to say however, that the styling alone exceeds that of the infamous Azimut shipyards! And let's face it, you can't go past steel in a hull, fantastic!
That was a great video again too David. You and your team do a fantastic job! I know Moonen will have no trouble selling their yacht for the price given your exposé presented here! But is this a steel hull? Aluminium? At the start of your video we see a structure that appears to be laminated, yet the Moonen website mentions steel, and somewhere else I saw aluminium.
Not being a qualified buyer I shouldn't bother, but I'm just curious.

Wow. I never realized how much the details of silence and shape really do make an enormous difference in how you can actually USE a boat. This is no wedding-cake yacht that can only sail in the daytime for short hops between islands, and has to be loaded on a yacht transport for anything else. It's a real *boat,* that can get where it's going on its own keel pretty much wherever it's trying to go. Silence, range, and enough space to be comfortable over that much time should equal true transatlantic capability, so long as it can tolerate the weather. Is it rated for crossing?

agreed, no way you are getting/hiring a prof chef after they see that galley... look at the CDM 31 meter, True Blue... prof galley and 4-5 times the freezer space... this yacht is for the med, maybe Caribbean as you can not go far , nor serve guests and crew with that apartment galley
I will never understand how new yachts are not equipped with solar panels. There is so much surface area which is exposed to the sun every day all day - why would you not try and cut down on fuel consumption? AC and standby power could easily be provided by the sun.

Lovely and very nicely designed yacht, but the number of steps or the number of separate small steps, let alone the number of main internal and external staircases too.
On a very new or modern super yacht, which will be purchased by individuals who are more than likely in their late 40's to their early 60's.
So may not be as fit as they once were, or have developed let say mobility issues or some health or disability issues, or have family and friends who do have.
So sooner or later there will be access issues, with regards any yacht someone buy!
Also to be honest super yachts costing over 10 Million Euro's, let alone up to 17 Million Euros of this super yacht, or superbyachts of over 20 Million Euro's too.
When these super yachts are a very large purchase price and long term annual operating costs, around 10% of the purchase price annually too.
So with this super yacht annual operating costs, could be around 1.7 to 2 Million Euro's annually, on top of the purchase price of 17 Million Euro's.
I know some will say, if you have ask the price of a super yacht, you cannot afford it in the first place.
Then having to take into account maybe long term servicing and maintenance, as well as future possible improvements, upgrades and modernisation costs.
Say over a 20 to 30 year lifespan of these super yachts, or longer lifespan too, maybe with two or three refits within the average super yacht lifespan.
Should not these super yachts builders and designers, right at the start actually include in their designs and builds, to allow for some level of disability or some level of mobility access.
For possible owners and their guests or passengers, who may come onboard?
What is the rules for yacht builders and designers, over providing for Disability or mobility access, any at all?
As commercial vessels, Cross Seas and Channel Ferries, or River Buses and Taxis, or Passenger Hovercrafts, right upto Ocean going Cruise Liners, even Sightseeing and Dinner Cruising Vessels, all are required to allow for and include disability facilities and mobility access.
I just wondered, has the private yacht industry, not heard of European Disability and Equality Discrimination Laws, over Accessible?

My experience with Miele in my home has been dismal to say the least. Three extractor fans, and even the last one doesn’t work properly!
