The ink is Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo Night Sky (Greenish Deep Blue) which shades wonderfully on Bristol Board. You can find it here: amzn.to/36cmgyV
I had this nib specially modified by John Mottishaw. He ground the nib extra fine and added flex to it (the Spencerian customization). - Jak na to + styl

Oh, how well I remember fountain-pens from my school-days! The smell of the ink, kind of darkly acidic, the scratching sounds all around the classroom, as 30 silent heads bent over wooden desks. Going home with blue-stained fingers......and yet! Such a beautiful instrument it is in the hands of an artist! 🙂

Try using a brush first ,it works.
Just buy a cheap fountain pen and a bottle of ink (Jinhao is an inexpensive brand) worst thing that happens is you don’t like it and lose $5!
There are a couple of CZcams channels out there that teach and help you improve your handwriting

Genericide Don't think you'd need to go that far, dude. It's available for $144 off this site called nibs.com (no affiliation), though the pen in the vid was customized by a nibmeister; the site lists the customization fee at $110, so you're looking at around $254 plus shipping. I kinda doubt a soul is worth that little, pricey as the pen may be.
Source: I considered getting one of these before I decided dip pens were cheaper :))

+Joumana Rashad You found a modified Namiki Falcon for a dollar? Impressive. Of course, you can sometimes luck into good vintage flex pens at low prices, but the chances of that happening are low.
Not all nibs were designed to flex, by the by. If you apply too much pressure to a firm nib, you run the risk of damaging it.
I'm biased in saying this, but I think the price may be well worth it. I'm not rich, but after getting into fountain pens I've been better able to appreciate the value of a quality writing instrument. Not everyone may agree, but then again, no one is being forced into purchasing the product.

These videos made me interested in fountain pens and writing. I'm an amateur with no fancy pens or handwriting still, but I find it very soothing to watch these videos and kind of... "dream" of a pen collection of my own one day aswell as an accompanying handwriting fitting that collection :)

craz3able Awesome! But before you go all expensive or vintage for different pens, I recommend your collection to start from a G-Tech or Fine-tech. The reason is that its best for those in a budget because its not that expensive also its best for those people dealing with their handwriting and its pleasing when it comes writing essays. :D
