You should keep moving west to a state that is REALLY free. You don't have to go far, either. One more state over and you can have constitutional carry and no more gun control than whatever is on the federal books.
Plus, my home state of Ohio has become even redder than formerly "ruby red" states like Arizona and Georgia. The state of PA will eventually become the next NY, CA and NJ, so you might as well get a head start on getting away from the same gun control you left in NJ by hopping over here to Ohio.

Back to the issue here: NJ has a permission slip scheme. Fudd Policy Coalition only challenged the "good cause" provision of that permission slip scheme.
You can do all the mental gymnastics you want about it, but the Fudd Policy Coalition did not question the constitutionality of the permission slip scheme. If Bruen is the pro2A slam dunk you fake pro2A people think it is (and it's not), then either Fudd Policy Coalition supports the permission slip scheme in general, or they don't believe that Bruen renders permission slip schemes beatable in court.

In Alabama we have whats called a mechanics lien. Cost legal fees to do it so $1000 might not be worth it. But I work on industrial pumps that are worth huge money and the repairs can cost a few thousand up to $20k. My customers are on 30 days to pay so that starts when I invoice the job as completed and delivered. I have never had to do it but it was having that as a legal fallback that got me the $8700.00 owed me for 94 days. Basically I hire an attorney to file the case and wait. If its not paid after a judge rules on it I can go into whatever companies property and claim the pump. My employer I bought my company from told me he had done it once. $10k job and 4 months without being paid. He got word the owner of the company we did the work for had not paid its employees in weeks and had tried to sell two forklifts his company had on lease. On lease from the same company the buyer rented a truck from to come pick them up. Driver saw his companies sticker on the lifts and saved the guy from buying them. My boss started the legal proceedings and we are talking about a shaft we had machined for a 10,000 hp electric motor that was about to be put on a ship to Columbia. The shipment was about to be stopped when they finally paid the invoice plus legal expenses.

The Constitution has been tested from its very beginning. The first case before the Supreme Court was West v. Barnes in 1791. This is what the SCOTUS does, i.e., its purpose/function as one of the three branches of our government. It serves as a check on the other two branches, namely, striking down unconstitutional laws and actions that come from the legislative and executive branches.

They are unconstitutional and should have went away with the civil rights act of 1964 because concealed carry or any carry laws are racist Jim Crow laws that were placed on the books to prevent minorities from concealed carry of firearms.

There is NO EXCUSE for any case, even the SCOTUS to not be heard within 90 days (most states have laws in place for cases to be heard no less than 20 days after service) and decisions handed down within 60 days of hearing. Oral arguments constitute a hearing. ANY COURT TAKING OVER 90 DAYS TO ISSUE A DECISION IS A CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATION. JUSTICES MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL SUCH DELAYS…NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
