Thats that same Michael Whatley manipulation that has gone on in NC for years. Whenever constitutional carry or any other gun rights legislation came up in NC in recent years, Nc Speaker of the House Tim Moore and Pro Tem Phil Berger would move to quash it from coming to the floor and their buddy Whatley was generally connected to that decision. I and many others have told everyone Michael Whatley is an infiltrator and saboteur. I guarantee that is what's going on here...he needs to be removed IMMEDIATELY from the RNC!!

Also, just something else to consider: H.A.V.V. (Help America Vote Verification) is secretly getting Illegals without a ID to vote and has been since the last election. Biden signed an executive order allowing federal agencies to create documents that satisfy state voting requirements....meaning that any fed agency can allow anyone they want to vote in any state now without any legitimate credentials. If you peruse the H.A.V.V. data, tens of thousands of dead people and people without a matching SSN are trying to register to vote in many states and there hasnt been any investigation or answers for it. Timcast IRL has been trying to bring attention to this for months.

Actually, States ignore their own State Constutions, many have a much stronger right to bear arms in them then the 2nd Amendment does. 2nd Amendment covers all 50 States from Federal regulations. Your State Constutions covers the citizens of that State.

This is way I see it. A promise given by a politician is a waste of oxygen.
No current mainstream politician has any outspoken 2A opinions. At most, it's an afterthought. This is not a step in any direction beneficial to 2A beliefs.

Since I turned 18 in 1980, I have continuously been registered to vote with the only breaks being when I have moved from one area to another, but I got registered immediately after moving to a new area! I value my right to have a say in what goes on in the government, be it federal, state or local. I have worked several times as a poll worker, also, and I encourage my children to maintain their voter registration so they can exercise that right.

I take the following position on it: It is a forward looking platform, meaning it is building on the platform that was already in place. In addition to that, they say they will defend the BOR and Constitution. and there is nothing in there to say anything contradictory about being an advocate or supporting our right to keep and bear arms.
Take it at face value, never imply when dealing with any politician. Politicians THRIVE on loopholes, technicalities, and omission. This is deliberate.
