Yes dude I get it. Disappointing mileage? 28 is great, I think you mean tank range. I think the heaviness is due to the power curve, Himalayan gets the power lower down the range.

Great video as always. Every motorcycle has its own quirk and not all have same opinions on individual quirks. Even though I own a himalayan I still do appreciate the look of dominor and affordability compared to himalayan. But if someone asks me if I'll trade himalayan to dominor, I'd say no... I might some day try and own both together😝.

Bhaiyaji got myself a dominar a month back. It's a good bike. But the customer service sucks. I was welcomed into the showroom by a pretty looking girl with the most disinterested looks and was chewing on a gum rather vigorously. Can't believe she chewed on that gum while I was waiting on the 'manager' for a good 2 hours.
Ha ha, she herself was killing her boredom in that gum 🤣

Hey , was just wondering which would u recommend among these 3 , purpose would be city riding mostly and some good low end for some fun overtakes when needed . Rtr 160 4v , Fz v2 and gixxer . Tho gixxer's lack of spares and clunky gear box kinda makes it thelast choice for me . Also would like it if u give a reasoning , thanks :)

RE Himalayan is a stunning motorcycle except for usual issues concerning RE brand. But it's more of a specialist, as you said. Meanwhile, Dominar is a jack of all trades. Well played by Bajaj and it worked. You see Himalayan on the road once in a blue moon. Even the Ladakh saw more Dominars and RE Classics than Himalayan. For some strange reason the RE 'Tiger' is not selling well. RE introduced Himalayan with lot of flaws and it cost them the fortune. But as usual, Great review and comparison. Kudos.
Yes - spot on. Like they say, "You don't get a second chance to make a first impression". I think RE still hasn't been able to undo the damage of their less than stellar outing with the Himalayan. However, it's also a bike for a specific niche so you can't expect it to be a runaway success - I just hope it finds a loyal following among the die-hards. Thanks for stopping by as usual!
What..??...I work in Leh and I find only Bullet, Classic or Himalayan here...very few Dominars...Himalayan is now the most preferred and readily available bike on rent here....

what would you suggest for reliable , non heating bike for daily riding with good pillion comfort , i currently own bullet Electra?

if you are riding 85% in city, something like RTR 200 or FZ 25 would be more fun and sensible

Damn 26?! I mostly read that people are easily getting 30-32! I am actually thinking to buy it for my daily 25-30kms commute. Like Himalayan really fits in my need for comfortable and easy going bike but still worried it might be an overkill for my need. Any thoughts of you as an owner of it for daily commute?
