    Actually its the same in Georgia as well, except tradion of giving gold coins to the newly weds and custom related to the dogs or cats, here they do not travel by public transport, though they are treated normally enough.

    I am Turkish. When you are invited to a Turkish house, you should say that you are full if you are full otherwise foods will keep coming from the kitchen. But the house owner will probaby not believe in you and will try to feed you anyways so just go there with empty stomaches. 🤣 not accepting food and leaving food on plate also considered rude, you have to be hungry all the time. 🤣 Turks and their desire to feed everything… 🤣

      @@BeryIstanbulTips Traditionally, dogs are considered haram, or forbidden, in Islam as they are thought of as dirty. ??? From my islam friend in singapore and malaysia they are no allow to touch dog , is Turkey same?

    • @BeryIstanbulTips
      @BeryIstanbulTips  Před rokem +2

      Türkiye is not like that, I don’t doubt that maybe some people might follow those “restrictions” but surely the minority, I have seen plenty of people having dogs as pets, generally Turks love all sort of animals, take well care of them, and feed them.

    • @ozguryuksel5242
      @ozguryuksel5242 Před rokem +1

      So Malays and Singapores are probably from Shafi sect of Islam. According to Shafis , dogs are considered ''makruh'' to touch . You should wash your hand afterwards and refresh your ''abdest''-cleanness.Otherwise you can have dogs as pets . And of course it is ''Haram'' to eat them if anybody serves you. Turkish people are mainly Hanafi sect (except few kurd-arab communities from southeast) so no restrictions with most of Turks to keep pets at home.
