Just visited Turkey in early May and felt prepared after watching your videos, thanks. Lots of history and culture with a great transit network. Found reasonably priced accommodation on the Asian side and started each day with a traditional breakfast. Found prices higher than expected and plenty of scammers to be wary of. We took your suggestion and did an early Evening cruise on the public ferry of the Bosporus.

I came back from IST few days ago and the prices are high. Butter is for 6-7 EUR, in Czech Rep which is for 1.50 or 2. 🙈 Public transport is cheap, this is OK.

I am in Turkey now. Yesterday i went out on a boat ride, i paid 100tl for a tin of fanta. I thought the guy was joking, but he was not. This made me super aware of asking for prices before purchasing anything.

I visit Istanbul every year and am so disappointed at the extreme price increase.

Hm, im quite shocked,.just booked my flight and hotel. I was in Istambul some 12 years ago, apart from beer it was reasonably prized back then. Didnt expect that the prices had gone that much up, especialy as the exchange rate is way better then back then

I ll make sure to try these next time I visit Istanbul, than you! I only tried haci bakir lokum several times and brought them back home as gifts. It is best quality Lokum and really delicious especially the ones with pistachio❤❤❤
