PXN V10 the new entry level racing wheel.....taking a closer look at how it really performs
Can this be connected to my PC so I can use my VIve Pro instead of a TV screen?
Cheapest in USA goes for $279! Stop your crying! 🙄🤣😂🤣✌️
You guys know if they will release different wheels like a f1 style?
@@davidmorales2767 (ik im late) but yes there is an official f1 wheel made by pxn for the v10.
PIECE OF SHIT FAILS AFTER WARRANTY!!
2:14 VERY big mistake that needs to be re-told. The wheel front plate is Aluminum Alloy, not plastic. Although its hard to tell at first because of the lightweight. I have the wheel and you'll feel the big temperature difference once the wheel is left in a room overnight.
(Edit: the replies are very educational 🤣)
VERY big mistake: It's ALUMINIUM, not "aluminum".
English is not my main language, I'm currently living in S.Korea
@@KainRazielMT VERY big mistake: in north america its pronounced "Aluminum". Even further the original name was Aluminum, Well Alumium is technically the original.
@@KainRazielMT Wrong it is Aluminum,
@@BattTube in north korea u say aluminum!!
this would be a perfect competitor here in South East Asia due to lower shipping and the item's cost. To be fair a new G920 is $100 more than this V10 in Malaysia. with that price range it's just better off with Thrustmaster's T300
Ye dok
This is on another level ahead of the g920, that’s insane to hear the price difference
ye ye je..100$ more to kalau convert beza dekat 500-700 ratus..
@@muhammadafiq1802 logitech + shifter 1599 . T300 RS GT takde shifter 1999 . Bukan lebih kurang 100 dolar ke tu bezanya ?
Edit : PXN V10 RM1049 , Logi G920 RM1599
Ya and the g920 is probably worth like $300 more than this.... It was a failed product from Mad Catz from years ago... It's literal plastic trash
great review! i had mine and about to start using it, but great to watch this video first beforehand!
I have been abusing a G920 for a few years now and while i'm not planning to change it until something breaks, this seems excelent. The pedal spring setup seems amazing, and the split paddle shifters are also an amazing touch. Very cool looking product. I'm glad the basic affordable sim racing equipment is getting more specialised alongside the alien super expensive stuff.
Except the V10 used to be a Mad Catz wheel.
I'm a 16 year old who just got into sim racing. I bought the PXN V10 about 3 weeks ago, and my friend has a logitech g29. Netherless, the pxn will have a much stronger and violent ffb, while logitech's ffb will feel more smoother and natural, but very underwhelming.
The distance travel of the pedals is very good for the pxn, while the logitech's pedals have short travel, but stronger springs.
The logitech def has a more quality feel, but while driving, the pxn makes things feel more alive.
Both are very good wheels, in different ways. I am enjoying my PXN V10 so much rn.
Thanks for info mate.
Which of the two (V10 vs G29) has smoother steering? As I only play truck sims I'm more concerned with the smoothness of the steering instead of the feedback. My current wheel feels very "crunchy" when I make big turns that involves spinning the wheel a few times.
@@cf5341 then you'll have to go with logitech, they are very smooth XD
For like racing, def pxn
Have you tried updating the wheelbase?
@@edineammar4059 if that question is for me, I currently have a T150, so I can't just update the wheelbase. I'm in the market for something else. Was looking at the Fanatec CSL DD 5nm, because I think DD would be the smoothest I could get, but was wondering if I can get that same smoothness in something else.
I like that they included a toggle button for trucking simulators. I've got a much better setup with a TH8A shifter and an Eaton Fuller shift knob with the real switchgear (replaced with HALL effects sensors of course) but back when I was still using my old Logitech G25 that dedicated button would have been great.
For someone that has been competing for podiums in a sim racing league using a non-ffb budget wheel, that's a wheel I'm looking foward to buy this year, it's a shame it is a bit pricy down here in Brazil. Thanks for the review.
Comprou o volante?
Really clear and informative. Thanks for posting.
PXN V10 from me to you.
Thanks for another very informative video. You must be one of the very few reviewers who actually takes the time to show us how the wheels connect up to a Sim Rig as well as a normal desk.
Very helpful for people just starting out. Thanks again.
❤️
PXN V10, looks like a cool affordable wheel and perfect for people that want anything that will work with multiple systems. I bought a V9 last month and t works with everything...PC, XBox, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. I love the app, makes it super easy to adjust on the fly. This would likely work with PS5 as well if you used a wired Hori gamepad plugged into the USB port on the back of the wheel.
how is the quality of the materials? pedal feel and steering wheel? cheers :)
@@nights8575 yeah, i was gonna ask the same, it looks super cheap plastic to me :\
Quality feels and looks much better in person, but logitech feel a bit more higher Quality
Wheel is comparable to Logitech and a great deal. Only wheel I've seen with an app that lets you quickly remap buttons, adjust wheel rotation, vibration and sensitivity settings and then save profiles for each game on all the systems including Nintendo Switch. The H-pattern shifter is equal to Logitech driving force shifter but includes a hi/low range, and a parking break (only shifter I have seen with these features). The pedals are the weak point, they are light with little resistance.
@@elbowsout6301 I've owned the PXN V9 and its okay for the price, lacks FFB and like you said the pedals are very weak. But outside of that, everything else is pretty smooth (The pedals wear out quickly depending on how often you use it, someone told me it took a month for them but for me it was almost 6 before I started having issues with it.)
Thank you, very detailed and thorough review.
Crazy how entry-level is still £250
And that is still just the wheel. A chair and stand, monitor or screen is needed.
do you guys really think there’s a company that could do it for any less? You guys got no clue how much RnD is and how much it actually costs to produce, market, and then sell something like this, you also have brands like fanatec, thrustmaster, and logitech which are so far ahead when it comes to this niche market. If you can’t pay $250 for a cheap wheel then don’t play sim games, learn basics of driving in a shitbox corolla
@@SyTrades someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed
I looked on eBay and picked up a wheel, pedals and stand for about £60. Granted it isn't a fancy brand but for entry level stuff it works perfectly fine.
@@SyTrades Bro,research and Development .How can be so expensive in research and Development on a technology that exist since 2006.come on clown.that technology is outdated use the most cheapest motors :brush ones and exists since 2005 to 2006.it is the first force feedback system that came.
Could the springs on the pedals be replaced to give them more resistance?
My G27 is still going strong, but I'm always on the lookout for a potential upgrade. This looks good, although the pedals seem a bit lacking, and I wish I could find an H-shifter than could also be switched over to a spring-loaded sequential shifter. Sometimes I think I should bite the bullet and put together a Fanatec system, but now that MSFS has added helicopters, I want a collective/cyclic/rudder combo, which is $1600+ by itself (and that's a relatively "low-cost" rig). Ugh. First world problems. lol
The brake suspension can easily be changed, the size is noticably bigger than the g29's pedals, so they are solid when not mentioning the brake tension
@@youngboksim2021 - Good to know, thanks!
Take a look at the SHH Shifter, has all you say
PXN V10
This looks like it would be the perfect wheel for my "portable" pedestal arcade controls I am working on with my son. It is going to be an all-in-one pedestal style control panel with 2x 8-button controls, 2x 6-buton, a spinner, a roller ball, 2 lightguns and 2 flight sticks (think afterburner) and a pinball plunger and flipper buttons for visual pinball. This would be mounted to a board that would hook onto the edge of the pedestal with the pedals slightly recessed into the cabinet as I intend for this to be used in the stand up config like it used to be in the 80s and 90s (remember Crus'n USA?)
I was trying to find a different branded wheel, as in different from thrustmaster and logitech that is inexpensive but not cheaply made. The selling point for me is the 270 or 900 degree rotation switch. I like that and the fact that there isn't added bloatware needed just to use and configure it. I am going to build the pc into the base of the podium, it will be portable cause I am going to put wheels on the back like on a dolly, wheel it up to a wall mounted TV, hook up the power to the floor mounted receptacle and hook up the HDMI, so it will be completely self contained. Sorry for waffling on about this but your video has helped me in the layout of this pedestal.
One thing I suggest might be a problem in the future - those pins underneath the quick release system - I bet that if you change your steering wheels regularly or if you apply too much force on the wheel, I guess those pins could bent... ?
Then you can jumper it if broken.
have been used for two months. I took the wheel off every night and it seems on problom at all.
I've used it for 5 months now. Quick release still in great condition. No issue so far. Release twice a week. Still in great condition.
Also the pin is retractable not a socket.
The contact pads would go out before the pins.
Nice video! Thanks for sharing!
Does all the clamps come with the steering wheel or did you buy it seperately?
I have a pxn900, and I don’t have any issues with it. so having another pedal, shifter and proper FFB (compared to pxn900) is not a bad deal. Specially since I use the Xbox and the ps4.
The stripe on top is important because everyone knows stripes make you go faster
great video ! very informative and eye pleasing.
Thank you!
added a folded piece of paper to the edge of the shifter for each paddle as needed to make the shift as short as possible. 3d pringing items would be over the top, but .... just jaming a paper clip in there is a huge simple fix
But can you put a bigger round wheel on it and add a hydro ebrake?
PXN V10, got to the end, lol. Was short, informative, and strait to he point, nicely done.
❤️
This might be one of my next purchases. Im interested in sim racing and ive already been playing alot of arcady race games (nfs and a bit of burnout)
I have a G25 and the one thing that kept me from getting a G27 or G29 was that the G25 has a sequential shifter switch.
On my T150 with pro peddals brake felt quite nice even without damper, but over time of intensive togue racing it got somewhat soft and now my cluth feels about same as brake peddal. And their engeneer must be mad because his damper replacement was peace of rubber that you can mout under peddal, but then you cant hit full brake :D This solution is over the top when you compare to others.
PXNV10 - Wasnt a fan of the travel distance on the wheel shifters, are they adjustable in anyway? (imo just took to long to actually click)
hello, can you tell me which is better to take the steering wheel g27 or pxn v10
how is it for drifting? does it self-center fast? that’s the main issue with the g29 in my experience
PXN V10, amazing video mate. Enjoyed it!
❤️
Not bad at this price range. It's not perfect but still good for budget conscious gamers who want a decent setup. Well done reviewed and unboxing my friend. like 301 and full view.
Thanks bro!
In mainland China, its price is only about 160~170 US dollars。😄
what is the price?
@@user-zw7sx8lf7y worth it at that price. G29 with a shifter is about $300
Need to get my hands on a rig!👌🏻
💯🥳
PXN v10!! I currently have the G29 for my ps4 I have an Xbox series S and hate I can’t use my wheel… this would have been perfect. Would you consider worth it to replace g29 or just buy Xbox wheel??
Why does the shifter come with a "normal" clamp while you'll ned the a hex socket to fit the Wheel?
This is so helpful. I saw this wheel combo on Amazon and thought no way it's actually decent. Now I want it
"PXN V10" gang
The G29 can be recognized as a G27 by Win98SE drivers, meaning it is good for all your classic and modern gaming up to Win11.
👍
The PXN V10 is basically a reworked Mad Catz Pro. The Mad Catz wheel flopped due to them developing calibration issues over time and having no PC or PlayStation support.
Do you plan to do another video on this wheel when it's had some serious use?
Had mine for about 4 months now and still going strong.
how does the shifter compare to the logitech one?
Any idea if it would work with ps5 via a drivehub?
I have the v9 version and I liked it but the pedals didn't last long. I think I will get one of these v10 after seeing this video. I like the fact that they can be used independently unlike the v9 version. I also found that the shifter didn't hold up as well. I hope there are some improvement's to the internals with the v10. Thanks for this video.
The price is twice of the v9, the v10 will have a huge leap in quality
I don't think the V9 has any force feedback right?
@@GeekStreet yes, only vibration that shakes the wheel. PXN also just released a new 10nm DD wheel(v12) for $550 in China, not sure when it'll come here though
does your v9 6 speed gear shifter works on ps4 ?
hi@@studentuitm888 no it does not work on the ps4 it does work on the ps3.
I made it till the end hood buddy!!
Pxn v10, nice vid!

Great review! Looks cool for a possible Mario Cart RIG for my kiddos. Will it work on a Nintendo Switch?
How do you get the force feedback to work
Bonjour est ce que vous savez si c’est possible de jouer a dirt rally 2.0 sur ps4 avec le pxn v10 ? Merci dos réponses ça m’aiderait pas mal 👍
Do you need to plug in a controller if your using it on pc
It’s fun and all but unfortunately it’s not supported in a lot of triple A games
On mine I tried to pair it to the app and it would pair. Don't know if I have to do any extra steps to get it to work.
Once my PXN v3 stops working, I'm gonna buy this lol. Also, PXN v10.
For anyone interested pxn sells the wvs 300mm wheel so you can use the QR for something at least and the wv10f formula plate for the standard v10 wheel, but are only listed on their chinese web page :v, if you find a chinese retailer that can sells you those, good for you
Would this be a decent upgrade over a t150 for $150.?
PXN V10, Thank you for the review. I am looking into purchasing one and wanted an honest review.
Check this out before you decide czcams.com/video/bDamIP1Ndzk/video.html
How is the noise during force feedback? The G29 has really loud clanking noise from the gear system. How about this?
Also the pedals and shifter are advertised to have Hall effect sensor as oppose to G29's potentiometer, and can basically last forever. Can you confirm this?
Its quieter, the motor base isn't hollow and is filled inside, so it won't make that plastic shaking noise as much as the hollow g29 does
Hall effect sensors don't last forever, that's a wierd marketing trick. The calibration drifts over time which normally means you have to open it up and readjust the magnets relative positions. Not difficult, but it means you have to eventually do some work on it the same as you have to with a potentiometer.
It used to work on my xbox one , but when I got a xbox one x(not series x) it doesn’t work anymore and I haven’t used it in like 4 months, what do I do
How do you connect that wheel to Ps4 just the same explaination as xbox?
Recently got this as a birthday gift. Sadly, it doesn't work on Snowrunner, which is basically the only driving game I play
Please review the FANTECH RS1 Steering Wheel please!
My g25 and g920 are both doing well, i probably won't upgrade to this. Though, the brakes are interesting, i hope logitech looks into it. Being able to adjust your brakes that easy, is pretty nice
I think they implemented this brakes on the Logitech G pro
That was some hardcore input lag wasn’t it?? Is that your monitor or the wheel?
that was the Mad Catz base and wheel back in 2015!
Ia this wheel better than t150?what should i get?
which one is better g29 our this wheel?
PXN V10 almost perfect but my search goes on for for one that works on both current gen consoles 😕
Is this wheel compatible with ATS/ETS2? Just keeping eye out for wheel for one my friends. I already have G29 and love it, but I got it before all pc prices shot up. Wheels now are crazy over price in Canada and my friend in Australia been looking for a wheel, but G29 over there for him is $500+. That's insane for Wheel that is 7+ years old now..
This is the same wheel as the Madcatz Pro Racing which was released in 2014(!). Not sure if the internals are different or not.
The included pedals with the PXN are different tho.
I agree, the wheelbase looks too similar!!
same wheel but everything is changed . new motor , new buttons , new pedal sets . If the design works why change right ?
pxnv10 - those who know, know.
quick question. have you used it on xbox or pc. and if using it on xbox for forza. does that ebrake thing actually work. having considerations about this but i also want to get something that either has handbrake mods for it already, or something i can jimmy wire a handbrake onto (do a lot of drifting in forza, and the rally in wrc8)
Just bought this wheel tonight and I’ll be taking it back to get it switched out for another. The forced feed back stopped working right when I got my no hesi servers set up
Get your money back and go for a Logitech G29 or G920
What did u buy this from online or in person Walmart or what did u buy this from bc the one I seen is only 13 reviews
Only available in online websites rn, it opened up in Amazon about a few months ago so not a lot of reviews yet
great video😘
do a review on pxn v99
i currently have a G923. $100 more but its from Logitech, either it goes well or really bad but i like how V10's designed. "looks" like a DD and detachable wheel
@teodorilie1508 Theres only one thing i dont like about my G923 is that brake padal is way too stiff. i had to swap the spring from the clutch with the brake, but after i changed, seems like the brake only go up to 80% but thats more than enough for me, as i dont usally apply full brake while drving in game. and yes im a noob that drives automatic. I wish i know how to drive in manual. It looks more pro that way
If you get this steering wheel I would recommend upgrading the shifter to something better the mounting screw for the shifter brakes easily I would recommend a Logitech shifter what's the racing adapter so the shifter can work
PXNV10. Good review....interesting substitute, finally!
❤️
I don't think it's worth it, it goes for 330€ - 350€, and you can get a G29 for 200€ - 240€, and a gear stick for another 30€, so quite a big gap in real pricing.
This is so cool bro!!😎😎🔥🔥💯💯💯

Outside of any period of Logitec promotional discounts It would be a G29/G920 killer, I mean at the moment the Logitec ones are discounted to £304 on Amazon with shifter and £264 without, would be good if PXN did one without shifter to get the price down, or did a promotion themselves.
I got my g920 with the shifter for £220 brand new at smythstoys got a good deal
Or even just the wheel and wheelbase. I have a g29 and t-lcm pedals and th8a shifter, this would be a great stop gap between the g29 and the t300rs
Can you get the shifter on it's own
PXN V10. I am thinking about trying sim racing again and thus looking at cheaper wheel sets. But while this is a complete kit, unlike Thrustmaster or Logitech, reviews on Amazon are mixed, saying that it is not detected by Assetto Corsa Competitione.
its so nice that companies are finally realizing the potential in the sim market this way you wont need a large financial investment to get into sim racing.
I mean... Wow.
This is better I've expected.
You need to move the wheel far closer to you. Arms should not be extended straight out like that, it leads to fatigue and you have less strength.
3:06, it has 4 holes for mounting and we all know 4 is better than 3🌬️💥
Can I ask can it install for a handbrake 🤔🤔
that looks like a good shifter i wonder if it can be used with other wheels separately, i looks like it comes with a usb adapter
If you're playing on a PC you probably could.
How does this compare to thrustmaster T300?? I've been looking at the t300 for some time now but this kit looks appealing.
