Living alone for the first time has been quite a life-changing experience. Living alone for the first time is definitely a privilege and one I am grateful for. I am very mindful of spending habits since I am fully responsible for all my bills and utilities, while before I'd always split my rent or my utilities with an apartment mate. The art of being alone comes from truly being comfortable with yourself. Even if I live alone I'm not lonely :). There were moments when I felt lonely since I've always lived with someone, but I wanted to share ways to avoid feeling lonely. Feel free to share things you do if you ever feel lonely, too!

Was feeling a little lonely the other night for the first time in a bit so this helped so much! I relate on many levels, it helps to play things all throughout the day whether sound or shows, etc just to feel like you’re with other people, fun exercises and cleaning projects or fun meals/baked goods to look forward to making :) also knowing gods there knowing just how to make you happy/feel safe :) thanks for the video!!

haha im the opposite ! i go through the day compartmentalizing issues and focusing on whats going on and then when i workout i zone and think about everything that needs to be done/ worry. then its out of my system when im done working out and i can go back to focusing on the present.

I think I feel guilty as I try to be an engaged Christian I often forget to pray before my meals and before bed. These are all just things that I do and criticize myself for not holding myself to my standards. I mostly just talk to him casually. My mind is so focused on other things and God seems to be on the bottom part of the list. But I'm glad I can watch your videos and be reminded that he is with me always and that he's always there, waiting.

The fact that you are aware that you forget or put him on the self is a first step to actually help you to start being mindful and be intentional about putting him first and actually praying. i started to learn to live alone from the age of 8
Both of my parents were busy out their work so i would live alone from 11 am to 9pm
Sometimes it would become 12 am too..
I used to come from school and then do my work by my own
Good thing i had my birds so i would play with them
Then tuitions
So it wasn't that a worry to be honest.
Before my mom was reall confident on me livin'alone
Now my mum be like:
