you talking about missing your parents is a big thing for me i love what you said, I live in california too & im going to berklee in the fall, im pretty close to my parents too thank you for talking about how to deal with that!!!
absolutely!! ugh its such a big thing to talk about for anyone moving that far :) I might also add to my point that your parents WANT you to be happy and almost disconnected in your own life in college in some ways. It goes with the classic quote: no news means good news sometimes... see you around next year!

ps I heard you can take your liberal arts elsewhere and test out of certain classes to save money do you how an incoming freshman would go about doing this?
yes you can! I know a few people who happened to take college courses over the summer in high school or even had their own high school offer transfer credit. You definitely want to make sure it counts as a COLLEGE CREDIT! I never took college courses outsides of high school just because I was so busy, but I took APUSH which transferred as a history liberal arts course. So I'd say AP classes really help you out more than it looks!

Hi! so i recently got accepted to berklee, would you recommend i attend? how else has your experience been? i’m highly considering attending even if it’s remote for the first semester. Also, if we attend remotely, do we have to live near campus or can we attend from our hometowns and such?

I think there is a way to apply for a single-dorm (that are in limited quantity)... I would definitely shoot an email to the housing department they're usually pretty quick :)
I also want to apply in berklee. What are age limits for this?
