Yes its true, he and his Mum had their stomachs removed and changed the whole way of eating - there is a documentary he did about it.
I think people push like more on the reaction videos because there are so many people are doing reactions of him... people that know him already know he is good...so they have the joy of watching others reaction of discovering our Kiwi Boy...

Stan auditioned for Australian Idol in 2009 as an 18 year old and won. His fans like me back then dedicated to helping him win. So proud of him and his journey.. He has a thriving career today, he tours, he has merch and he's amazing. Married with kids and happy. So very proud of his journey. He's the funniest most positive guy, awesome attitude. He even had a realty show and judged NZ Idol lol he's very well known in NZ and Australia. I have always wanted him to break into USA and UK music industry. The views on his songs might be low lol but we know how special he is and more people are becoming aware. Hopefully you and other CZcams people will help him be heard all over the world Thanks again 😊❤

I think Stans operation to remove his stomach was Sept 2017 (hopefully I'm remembering correctly) then he was recovering and strengthening his body. After the op his first performance was February 2018 (Waitangi concert) then he went to Rarotonga for concert....or vice versa lol

Stan Walker is very much appreciated in NZ, AUS, the pacific island community and other groups, so when we see other people find the exact same thing we see within him, it is amazing. Gotta love Stan Walker and his talent, as well as The Levites who are amazing backing vocals. Stan Walker alone sounds soulful, but when The Levites are added in, it just uplifts the song to another level. Also gotta appreciate the instrumental players fr!
